Might start Tanning again

well its been a couple years since i tanned, i figured i would give my skin some rest since i havent competed in the last couple years, but with the future looking as if i might do a show or two soon i was considering tanning today

what do u guys prefer stand ups or lay downs, i like stand ups with lights on the door as well

i like the standup as well but i am so irish and pale that i get 3rd degree burns if i just try and jump into one, so i have to start in the beds for awhile then build myself up...i remember after using a bed once i did the standup for a full 12 minutes and i came out bright bright red, felt fine, then a few hours later broke out in a temp and coudlnt even move my fucking body it hurt so bad, a few days later though i had a sick ass tan LMAO!

I like the stand ups... I'm finally kicking this cold and my back is starting to feel better so I might go myself and maybe the heat will make me feel better.

I like the stand-ups mainly because my skin is too sensitive. When I lay down, I get extra tan on the skin that touches the bed--and yes, it looks extremely funny.

im in that boat too. one time, after I had built up what we will call a base tan on me, they put me in a bed and just happened to forget that it was new bulbs. Luckly, the heat from them was a clue and I didnt get completely roasted. If the girl working the desk wasnt so hot and dumb, I would have bitched at her.

I like the Hollywood 8 min stand up tans... b/c of my skin complexion I never need to ramp up... I just go in for 8 mins at a time, and boom i'm out and done...

They are just so freakin' expensive. To buy a single tanning session from Hollywood Tans in the 8 min stand up bed it is like 17 or 18 bucks.... ouch! I think it is like 72 for 5 sessions... not sure on what else.

Lay down beds burn my butt cheeks and my shoulder blades usually... and personally I sweat so damn much in those things i'd rather get tan and get out than 'relax' and wake up bumping my head on the top half of the bed...
