I know this is not a great diet so I wanted to put it out there and see what everyone would say. I think that my calories are too low this only comes out to around 3000 calories a day. I am a extremely active person I am in the army so we get up around 630 and run a shit load and then I lift four days a week. I lift two body parts a day, so I hit every body part. Is that enough?? I lift balls to the wall for those four days...I only do four days so I have plenty of time to rest and recover. Im also in school so I don't have much time between all of my shit to lift more. Well just tell me what ya think and if you want some more info just ask...Im tryin to get this right for the first time...and not cheat everyother meal...ooopppssss!!!

So I read in this book today (Ironman's guide to bodybuilding nutrition) of a diet where you cut carbs during the week and then overload them on the weekends. Suppose to do wonders for hard lean gains. Tell me what ya think, Im thinking about trying it!!!

what you would be doing by cutting your carbs during the week and loading up on the weekend would be what almost every BB does.....but not two days....just one cheat day. What that does is shock the metabolism and get it rev''d up again.....then you go back to carb depletion and that allows the metabolism to start chewing away at the fat......not to mention that a cheat meal helps a brotha from losing all sanity!!!!

Is it ok to cheat on a meal in the middle of the week(tonight we went to fuddruckers and I couldn't resist a burger and fries) and then again once on the weekend or is that too much???

I would think it's okay. but then again you are not discipline your body to follow a schedule. you know once you start cheat during the weeks it grow on you and you might think well it's gonna harm me if i do today, and you get the same thing in the middle of the week. Just try to limit your cheats day to once a week. Saturday or sunday works best for me.....
