I had that luxury when I was younger. I take off from the gym on days that I can't possibly train due to my work schedule. So on days "off" from the gym I only have time to make my food for work and work. I'm just getting home from finishing 3 13 hour days.... I'm wrecked. I have tomorrow off from work and I'm doing legs, then 4 more days of work. Hopefully not more than 10 hours a day...
depends if its off season, or if i am dieting for a show.
Now, im in the off season, and on my off days i try to sleep of get extra work done.
When im dieting for a show, my off days, i still have cardio, but i try to take a nap
to be honest going to the gym is like my "off" time
Its the only time i get to just switch off from everything and focus on one thing, guess thats one reason why i love going to the gym and why i feel way worse when i miss days from the gym. . .
the only other time i get to myself is when sitting on the toilet. .
I have been taking weekends off, doing the landscaping and doing different projects, something different. I need my days off now at certain intervals just to let my joints recoup.
I like to do cardio outside on off days....or just rest...with work, and training..its nice to have a day to just rest and do nothing...watch football (as its almost here !!!)
