I've really been dragging ass lately and been getting aches and pains like the flu. though I have no fever or other symptoms. I thought back a bit and I think most of this started around the time I cleaned my diet of "junk food". ie: fried things and fast food in general. I'm certain that since I've done that my caloric intake has dropped drastically. could that be why I've been dragging ass for 2 months?
so I grabbed the app, "My Fitness Pal". basically you put in what you eat and it breaks down all the nutrients, calories and what not. without going into to much detail just trust me when I say it really does a lot. I know a few amature bodybuilders and like that swear by it.
so I tracked everything I ate yesterday. I mean down to the water I drank. all measured and metered. at about 4:30pm I had only had appox 1300 calories. forgetting everything else that just flat out isn't enough food. the minimum to maintain my current weight(215-220) is 2300(I think). that's with no excercise and a sednetairy job. no wonder I feel like crap all the time. I hit 3048 yesterday and I already feel better. Right now I'm sitting at appox 940 and deffinatly feel better than I did this time yesterday. I probably need to be closer to 4K to feel good and have energy through out the day. it's gonna be tough. that's a lot of damn food. espically when you're not eating things like french fries and ranch dressing.
this could explain why I have such trouble with tendonitis and why I'm so injury prone.
how I've managed to maintain my weight and strength(and sometimes increase it) I have no idea.
