Philip Seymour Hoffman Just Found Dead

Cigarettes are legal ONLY because the people were lied to for DECADES. They had Doctors and sports stars hyping them as good for you, issued them to soldiers in the military all the while they knowingly had addictive chemicals in them. Cigarettes are way worse of a drug than opiates and they are legal. Thats the argument I put forth. I never said cigarettes are better for you, thats absurd. Cigarettes being legal just goes to the absurdity of the drug laws in this country.

I think people should be free to use whatever they want just as long as the behavior they are doing does no harm to others. Do all the drugs you want in your home, just do not go out in public and drive. You get high and drive it should be treated WORSE than a DUI. Businesses should also be free to decide to have a drug free work place and there should be education given to people to warn of the dangers of all drugs. You do drugs you get ZERO health insurance. These are ways to curb the use of drugs all the while giving the people a more free society.

From what I've read, you have the same mindset I do. I smoke and I know they are fucking horrible for me. I did cocaine every single day for a 4 year stint and quit it cold turkey without any problem, but trying to quit tobacco is the hardest thing I've ever done. I know a lot of it is in your mind, but it's still fucking hard. I think if you legalize every single thing, you will always have people who want to abuse things, but at least in that case it can be made in the purest and most cleanliest of ways. You won't have to worry about what the product is cut with or if you're even getting what you're paying for. It's a double edge sword if this were to ever happen, but who's to say right now that it would for certain be any better or worse than things are now. We can speculate and argue until we're all blue in the face, but unless it were to actually happen, we won't know for sure.

They are one in the same if you ask me. Either way, you're manufacturing a drug and pushing it upon people, whether it's a legal drug or not makes no difference to me. It is 10 times worse to me when it's being done by someone who's supposed to have your best interest in mind (your doctor). Don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of doctors that won't just hand out this or that, but there's plenty that handed out highly addictive pills like tic tacs for years.

yep script mills were super bad in Florida, i seen a special on them and was blown away at how easy it was to get shit, crazy crazy crazy

Yep, I knew people from here that would travel to Florida twice a month to get them.

Try a drug called Chantix. I had a buddy quit smoking in 3 days because of that drug. The sides are brutal but worth it IMHO in order to quit smoking.

We've tried the police state, make it all illegal way for nearly 50 years. I wish we could try it my way and show the people that it would work. Unfortunately people think Government is the answer. People think somehow you can legislate morality and you cannot.

What are the sides with Chantix and how long do you take it? I've heard it works, but I've never actually asked anyone about it

Suicide, how's that for a side? My Dad had a friend that took it and he killed himself

yeah theres been a few suicides directly related to chantix, and they say very very weird dreams that are usually sexual in nature, lol, but yeah depression and suicidal tendencies are well know for chantix.

i knew someone that took chantix and went freakin nuts and had to stop, i would say it works for some and screws up others

yeah i don't know about the ciggerate being more addictive, I've never seen anyone run out of cigarets and go rob and kill another person for money to buy another pack of smokes! Opiate withdrawal will make someone do shit they never thought they were capable of.

Oh and i use to love me some ecstasy, so they can legalize that all they want, lol, . Its the shit that makes you sick or violently ill , and ready to do anything to stop being sick, its those drugs I'm against altogether

And to be honest I think legalizing pot is fucking stupid! I think its just another nail in the coffin this country is being buried in!

It doesn't work that way Bro. It isn't drug users or heroin users or anyone doing things like that. It is much more involved and outlandish than what the media displays. Most violent robberies are by a certain group, in certain areas, for trivial things. Cell phones, wallets, shoes...
In my experience there would be no more junkies than there are now. Maybe less as it wouldn't be so taboo.
The fact is the war on drugs is KILLING our country. The Lawyer that gets busted for cocaine could lose his job and much more. Yes there are some casualties, but there are more with cigarettes and alcohol. I went through 1100 Percocet in 3 months. I quit 2 days after surgery.
All I'm saying is that its a money pit that puts money in criminals pockets.
