Pre-Workout Shakes and Sickness...

A friend of mine got pretty sick a couple of months ago and ended up being hospitalized. The docs told him it's possible that his pre-workout shakes were the cause. He would drink a whole can of Speed Stack by ABB rather than splitting it up into 2 doses like suggested. I think he said that he's been diagnosed with Colitis. Has anyone heard of this? He was telling me today that he just doesn't have any motivation now that he can't take a pre-workout. I told him to try caffeine or Vitamin B to see if that helps, but I just wondered if anyone else has heard of this or knows a substitute
 
Damn, what's in those shakes? If there is NO2, caffeine, and creatine in there, then he should take note of the directions. There's a reason that you are supposed to split it up. If you drink the whole thing, it's like taking a double dose of any drug, which is going to give you trouble sooner or later.
 
I'm not sure of all the ingredients, but I told him to talk to the doc and see if there's one ingredient he needs to stay away from in particular that way he can see if he can find something else that doesn't have it in it
 
I just got a few samples of the N.O. Xplode NT and I liked it, but I get used to shit like that so it's nice to mix it up
 
I still take 1/3 the dose of the NO I got from here that I won pre workout
 
I have stopped taking any and all pre workout drinks. Shit messes with my blood pressure to much.
 
i do co4 or jacked just one scoop w/ 5grams creatine, scoop of aminos, and some waxy maize about 30 min pre. i get great pumps but even without the c4 or jacked i get good pumps

I went through the same thing when i came off of the eca stacks, i lost all motivation and couldnt find anything to give me that proworkout buzz until i started to drink coffee before the gym. that worked for a while and then after i got through the withdrawl of not having a preworkout buzz i was fine without taking anyting at all, but it took me a good 5-6 weeks to start feeling motivated to workout again without anything to buzz me up first.

I'm starting to fell the same way bro.. I'm out of pre workout drink. SO I have been drinking coffee and it seem to work just as good for me..
