I know we've got a lot of experienced people on this board who have tried different supps here and there. I'm talking legal supps. (Protein powder, aminos, creatine...etc) How do we know the supps we take are of good quality? Can't most of these companies underdose their products, or put a lot of fillers in their protein shakes? I read where some companies talk about how their quality is better but then the nutrition label looks no different than the next brand. So how do we really know? Most would say, try and see if it works, some can't afford to do that these days and you may think its working just from placebo

Usually you get what you pay for. By that I don't mean GNC. However I think theres way to much hype about all the products offered. If I want to spend 50-60 bucks to grow I'll go for a vial and more food. I rarely ever read mags. there 90% advertising and bs

Agreed. The sad thing is that the supplement industry is not very well regulated. I am glad it exists but with all the herbal stuff the reality is you really don't know the concentration of anything you get. I have had some bad experiences with products that have niacin from herbal substances. I have flushed to the point that I actually reacted and ended up in the er because my skin swelled as well as my esophogus. Be careful. Even in items that say their content you really dont know the exact chemical comp. of what they are using if it is herbal. Different part of the herb will offer different strength in proprietary blends. Just be warned.
