I need some input on my workout. I am currently 155lbs and decided I want to maintain this weight however become a little bit more ripped. When I look at myself in the mirror I can see muscles starting to develop but its covered by some body fat. My goal is to have more definition where the muscles are ripped and tone. I do about 10-15 minutes cardio each day. If I more cardio I will lose weight which I dont want to do. I am at a road block right now as to how to modify my workout routine. Any suggestions? Thanks

well bro i'd hate to be the bearer of bad news but what you are trying to do is more of a body recomp which is like pulling nails when ur all natty.....most will say its not possible but the truth is to keep ur weight the same and lose bodyfat woul mean u are gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time which is damn near impossible and at ur weight nobody is gonna reccommend aas usage.....U should dbulk until you gain a substantial amount of muscle and then cut down .... I dont kno ur height or stats but that would help because you could be really short at 155 so list some stats and we can further help you....I don't think ud wanna cut down at 155 tho bro

Im 5-6 and I'm a hardgainer. I have been trying to gain weight for ever. I know I have to eat 6 small meals during the day but I just dont have time. I will start by buying a protein powder and drink it at 10am and 3pm. That should give me six meals. Im very slim so I dont have that much fat but I do have fat where my muscles right now are just now showing.

I have learned its 95% diet.

get your cals and protein up, carbs down, and a reasonable about of fat.

You need to go to smoothie king and get a large Hulk, twice a day and drink that dude down. Eat 3 quality meals a day, until your stuffed, then take one more bite. (Between the smoothies and meals, you will get the equivalent to 5+ meals a day) Lift heavy and simple, like to the point where you can't get more than 4-5 quality reps on your own, then get 2 forced reps after you hit failure. Deadlifts, pullups, squats, bench, and press. Be sure to warm up 5-10 minutes before you start, and be sure to stretch in between sets and after you're done. I promise you will grow. I trained a "hardgainer" who was complaining about the same things you are with this same technique... he gained 30lbs of solid mass in a year, and remained ripped like a cheetah. He was 40lbs lighter than me and was just as strong. His only supplements were smoothies from smoothie king and protein from Muscletech.

The smoothie king people used to call us by name and recite our order to us before we had a chance to say anything when my boy and I would walk in. They actually started doing that too at Planet Smoothie when CH3NO2 and I would walk in, back in the day.

just to add if you cant find the time to eat throughout the day and/or you dont have the money then switch hobbies. you dont get nothing for nothing in this sport.

Bad news you cant lean out and stay the same weight because you need to diet. If you wanna be more muscular at 155 you should be 165 and go from there. Continue cardio, lifting in the heavy rep range 4-6 and eat!

I paid $8.11 for my hulk...I got a $1.00 discount..lol

Base on everyone's advice it seems I need to bulk up a bit and get to 165lbs and lift heavy. In terms of cardio how long should I do it for (30 min or more)?

Why stop at 160 bro....seems like ur getting some sound advice etc...i think franco was just shooting for a ballpark figure for u to really see some difference in ur physique but i assure you if you can put on more weight then continue to do so and get the most out of it....itz gonna duck to 'add 10 lbs' then cut, then add another 10 lbs n cut etc.....stil havent posted ur diet but get that in check as well as ur workouts and go balls to the wall to pu ton some mass this winter!!!!! Then after its all said n done u may be so motivated u may continue to bulk or u may cut and very pleased with ur results.....
