I started back on insulin today.. I am hypoglycemic anyway but never have troubles b/c i always eat my meals on time.. so today .. got up ate two cups of oatmeal 5 whole eggs and couple hours later headed to the gym.. i hit bi's tri's did 40 min cardio. Then i went into restroom pinned 5 iu's of HumR slin.. i drank down a 60g carbs/35 protein shake.. the headed home. I showered got dressed warmed of 2 cups wheat pasta with chicken felt great. So drove an hour to work .. about hour later it hit me.. i was shaking and sweating.. so i went in a store got a sprite gulped it down.. i then ate some chicken with rice. well this was about 230 this after... i have been goin hypo all day having to drink sugar eat candy then i'll be ok and it goes away then comes back. It's 1015 now and i still feel it.

My thing is... if im never drinking sugar or eatin bad carbs etc etc etc because i dont want the sugar bec of gettin fat lol.... how is it going to really do me good if im always having to drink and eat sugar to keep from going hypo??? What do u guys think????
 
Go IM like in the shoulder, will shorten the reaction time. Which will help.


thanks bro ill do this tomorrow.. will it make it with the slin pin or need to go with a reg syringe?

and will these sugars hurt me.. as in .. you knolw what i mean.. no choice when hypo tho right???
 
You doin any igf too? It enhances it pretty much.. Start out with 2-3 iu and work your way up.. Works for me and some people are super slin sensitive which sounds like u bro.. 10grams per iu of carbs should do the trick to prevent hypo usually but any other supplements used also will mess a little bit with slin too I believe..

the sugars are fine when your taking them just cause ur going hypo a little, its not the sugar that makes people fat, its the fat they eat with sugars, the sugar simply spikes natural insulin which in turn shuttles the fat into you, so your fine bro as long as your not consuming a lot of fats with the insulin and the sugar and candy is fine to take when you need to

Thanks bro.. eases my mind. I did it IM like Nuk said and was SO much better too as far as time wise and getn it over with. I am only doing it post w/o four days a week. i do full fuller and a better pump all day when use.
 
In the hospital we use 0.1IU per 10 grams of sugar to make daily doses and correct glucose levels. Humulin R has about a 4 hr window of activity. I suggest IM shots but dont play with it in the morning bc you dont have enough glucose in the sytem yet. Even if you drink 100 grams, a lot goes to your bodies needs bc you just slept. Wait until after a few meals, then start. Start slow and get to know your bodies reaction to it. Some guys can handle huge amounts while others sweat and go hypo after 4IU.
Oh, the shoulder has more capilary beds so it acts faster, so just know that. If you pin the thigh, it wont act as fast.
