Small lump/swelling

Did an IM injection into my delt. After pulling out a small blood drop (nothing crazy) came out got it off pit my stuff away then I looked down and it was swollen up like a mosquito bite. I've been reading where it's just the product trying to come back out of the puncture hole from the needle. Any thoughts on what I may have done wrong? Yes I aspirated.

pull the skin to the side when sticking your self, when you release the skin afterwards there will not be a straight path for the fluid to exit from, it's called a z-track.

How did I never know this in all my years of javelin jabbin , i never have any issues with it wanting to come back out, but still surprised i never heard of this

Rub some dirt on it.... wait I think that only applies to injuries when playing sports of some ilk... dislocate your shoulder, rub some fucking dirt on it. Hyper extend your knee? Dirt. Bloody injection site.... dab it with alcohol and put a (preferably flintstones) band aid on it.:suspect:
