As the cast of the MTV show heads to Florence, Italy, the (KJ) mayor, Matteo Renzi has given the show a list of strict rules to follow during their stay to film season 4. These rules were even published in the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera for the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast to follow.
Renzi is not joking because his rules are pretty strict — at least by MTV standards — and they include:
• The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
• The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
• The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
• The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food.
Renzi’s rules come after some Italians expressed outrage that the MTV show would be filming in their country.
