The last line of the song ruins it for me.
"if it were up to me, I'd take away all the guns."
Is the last line of Cheryl wheelers song, and I do not agree because if you take away the guns you take away freedom plain and simple.
The song advocates keeping guns out of the hands of children and that sounds like good common sense, don't you think. That statement should never have to be made. Parents responsible for letting children obtain guns have the problem.
The solution is not to steal guns from everyone because as we all know or should know that is the second ammenment right of the people.
