I have been drinking only water for a long time while I train. I started drinking powerade again this week and it seems to have helped my endurance a great deal. 2 or 3 more reps in most situations. I guess I have not been getting enough carbs.
Strictly WATER !! If.. if !! you have your diet dialed in properly then your workouts should be easy and you should get the NORMAL TYPICAL EXHAUSTION from working out.. i think that's your body saying.. HEY !! YOU DID IT!! YOURE DONE!! GOOD JOB!! ... Pushing yourself PAST that certain point brings on OVERTRAINING...
If you don't leave the gym ZAPPED.. then IMO .. you didn't push yourself to the LIMIT.
Just an opinion.
P.S.- Screw Powerade/Gatorade .. they are made by SODAPOP companies.. LOL. too much HFCS !!
depends if im dieting or not.
if cutting for a show ill stick with just water, and MAYBE 10grams of natural sugar (apple sauce) half way through workout
if bulking ill either have a gatorade watered down, or a PWO drink (for ex. size on)
take a look at N2KTS its kida like jacked but cost's less and tastes and feels better.
used that and was blown away. but us ually use ASGT from LG since I got a few jugs since I "help" them on some boards around the net, same with needto but the N2KTS is really strong and i already use 1,3-dimethylamylamine here and there wich is in N2KTS and get it in bulk so that and a coffe or a scoop of ASGT is more then nuff.
