Bro my stuff is hidden in the toolbox of the garage. Well giess not now just revealed my hiding place lol. Gets cool in there and its fine. Really takes long exposure and extreme temps to crash good gear. Bit if it happens. Just reheat. No biggie.

I think the less you tell your partner about it the better. Im not saying lie to them but less is more
when you know it could be used against you and if they are paranoid that wont stop until they believe they are completely safe.
I feel for you guys, I dont have that problem but I still keep mine out of sight and hidden. I never disclose I do anything like that, I call it genetics lol

I imagine you would set it in a little bit so rubber stopper doesn't get wet? How long do you set in boiling water? Also how do you know if it crashes?

yes you are correct boiling water up to the stopper-reheat until the gear looks normal again-you know it crashed because it will look like a slushy

This is on the box my prescribed test comes in. Doesn't say specifically HOW to warm it, but boiling water as others have said or probably a hair dryer would work. If you have a glass top stove, I bet you could even set it on one of the burners, maybe after it's shut off but still warm.
