Well I have been fighting this for several days and started taking celebrex. Still sore. Besides working abs and stretching do you have any tactics to prevent this from happening? It seems like one part of my back is always strained lately. I am starting to wonder if it is nerve related.

Are you overtraining at all bro? I notice when I start to get injuries it's b/c I'm pushing things to hard without giving myself enough time to rest and/or my diet isn't good enough to allow my muscles to recover properly.

I might take a break for a few days bro, let it get good and healed up. I used to try to train through injuries that I didn't feel were too bad but I ended up really hurting my lower back on deads b/c I didn't listen to my body. Had to take 6 weeks off after that and get ultrasound treatments 4 days/week for 4 of those weeks.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but you might have learn to live with it...

I've had chronic upper back pain for about a decade now due from getting dumped on my head so many times as a wrestler-it comes and goes

nothing I can really do about it, just deal with it and learn to live with it

oh and just in case your curious...according to modern medical authorities every part of the human body has managed to evolve but the back...

our backs are still designed for that of our knuckle dragging ancestors

probably explains why I have so much hair on mine:surprised
