very little gains...why ?

I am in my 3 rd week of 100mgs tren and 100 mgs prop EOD i have leaned out by 2 % but my weight is up only 5 lbs..does that sounds right for this type of cycle .I am not a newbie by any means but this is the smallest amount of items i have ever used..

I am 5ft 6... 220 lbs (100 kg)...at 12 % BF 36 years old and did BB shows from 1990-1997...

looking for feed back on things ...Thanks
 
Sounds to me like you are keeping your diet really clean and are gaining lean muscle while losing bodyfat..... That is a blessing!! If I were you I would keep doing what your doing....

to go up 5 pounds and lose 2% body fat in 3 weeks is great!! Just because 5 pounds doesn't sound like much doesn't mean it isn't good..... When someone else says they gained 15 pounds... or 20 pounds..... A lot of that will be water, and some fat... This is because they went all out and bulked.... Which is what I am doing right now.... But if you are bulking clean, then your pounds gained may not sound to impressive but you will put on lean muscle and not have to worry about losing the added fat later.


You can post your diet if you want.... but this is what I would say is happening. and again... My suggestion..... Go with it!

eat 5 meals a day...200 grams protein...300 grams carbs ..and 50-75grams fat .....i train 3-4 days a week with 60-80 % of max lift on all excersices...

...i have learned that all cycles are different for everyone but every now and then you get lucky and someoneis doing the same one andgettingthe same results (or not).I generally stay on a light cycle like this for 8-10 weeks then come off.If you start to change things up in your cycle it is hard to know what worked or failed cause it takes 3-4 weeks to see any results anyway..

So what i am doing is going to keep running with this for another 4 weeks and then sit back and see if i like what i see,if not i will change some things based on what i could of done ..diet wise..training ..or drugs..usually when you look back you see you could of eating 1 more meal or shake..trained a little less (overtrained) or needed more rest and recovery time.. Lots can go wrong as well as go right..

The one thing i have learned through all my years of doing this..MORE drugs is not that answer ..sometimes i do not respond like most ppl to the same drugs just because my receptor site make up is different..sometimes you have to just try and fail but as long as you learn form it ,it is not a failure at all..

I may not of been lean enough to see what i thought i would..maybe a little clen and T-3 would of helped before i did this ..who knows..lol..Ihave already gathered my next cycle so i am going to be ready again in a couple of months..over all i think i should be happy with what i got and when i go back on again i will just try to keep my cardio going to keep that lil extra weight off..

Bro, I think you need more of everything. At 5'6", 220 and 12%, you're a big boy and should be able to handle a lot more food and still stay lean. I'd double your protein and carb intake, keep fat the same, and start training 5 days a week. I'd suggest keeping those calories as clean as possible too.

And bro, give this more time! 3 weeks and you're already discouraged? Try waiting until week 10 or 12, after you've increased your calories and then see how your body is responding. My bet is you'll continue gaining weight AND getting leaner at the same time.

You get out what you put in!
 
More protein wouldn't hurt. If you up the carbs too high you have more of a chance of fat gain. Sounds like your cycle is going fine though. If you want more miuscle gain, more protein is what I always say. Safer than the 'add more drugs' theory.
 
ditto --just one thing--i,ve cycled om test and fina and 350 grms of protien ed and was always ok with it--then one time a stacked anadrol 50 mgs ed for 6 weeks and i blew up crazy from it--the extra weight and strength i got made my deads go up so much more--my body really grew--in that few months(my arms were stuck at 18 1/2" for a long time) grew from 18 1/2 " to 18 3/4"--lol
