I have a question about weight gain. I went to the gym yesterday and checked in at 149lbs. I worked out for an hour and I did my bicep, tricep and shoulders. I did some abs as well and 8 minutes of cardio. I was drinking a small bottle of poland spring water. When I finished my workout my weight was 151lbs. Is this water gain or muscle gain or a combo? This is not the first time I have gained weight after a workout so I am just wonder what is happening.

There is no way you can weigh more than you put in you. What I mean is that if you weighed say 200 and ate a pound of food you could weigh no more than 201. A pumped muscle is pumped because it is filled with blood that was already in your body and thus the body still weighs the same.

Just want to point this out so there are no confusions about it...but you don't gain muscle in the gym...you gain it outside of the gym from diet/rest in conjuction with training

^ ^ ^ Holy cow, where have you been, bro? Good to see you back.

Been around the block a few times...LOL. I finally got time to dedicate to the forums and bodybuilding again. It's good to be back!
