Damn.. We haven't seen anything under $3.00 here in forever.. Lucky

Gas is around $4 a gallon here. I remember my dad buying gas at 25 cents a gallon.

As for diesel, back in the 70's during the gas crisis, everyone started buying diesel burning vehicles because it was at least a buck cheaper. How times have changed.

The gas shortage here in Cali was so fucked up that we could only gas up on even or odd days depending on the last digit of our license plates. I know you guys are going to call BS on this, but its the God's truth.

I have a Sunfire with a 12+ gallon tank. It is quite the gas sipper. It'll all change next summer when I finally buy a truck again. I'll still keep this grocery getter for the gas mileage though

in july it cost me $57 to fill up my 04 malibu...friday is only cost $45...it's hovering around 3.45/gal right now
