Im wondering what kind of Chicken Breast you guys are buying?
Do you buy the fresh chicken breast thats like $5-$6 and you get 4 fresh breast pieces?...OR are you buying the big frozen bags of chicken w/rib meat? Is there an issue with the rib meat chicken?
keep in mind that the cooked weight of the bagged chicken is much much less than the frozen weight....that's because the portions are injected with sodium water and then frozen to give them a larger gross precooked weight....the best option is buying it on sale (the butcher cut packs) when they get down to 1.99 to 2.49/lb.....then you're ACTUALLY GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....when not on sale then i just buy the packs in the sam's club butcher shop.....i used to buy the bags all the time but the pieces are always different sizes and i later found out about the sodium water injects to puff them up (my girlfriend is a grocery store manager so i've learned a few things)
I hunt mine with a finely sharpened tooth brush shank. But seriously the fresh is better bc u dont have to cut the fat off but the big frozen bags are what I get bc I eat chicken almost every day
Hey guy I alway's buy the fresh chicken and not the froze one..... Because due to the doubt that may be that was keeping for a long time in the freezer and all the energy and protein in that must diminish.......

Hi Abner,
You will always find fresh chicken in marts. Why would they sale old chicken?
The consumption of frozen chicken is more than fresh chicken. Frozen food didn't effect the energy or proteins.
