Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey- good quality, good price. I buy my from Supplementcentral.com- $50.00 for 10 lbs. The one thing I have noticed about my last two batches is that it doesn't mix well anymore when just mixing it with a spoon. It used to. Now I must use a blender for anything more than one scoop.
Percision protein and myoplex EAS , Nectar protein by syntrax
2 scoops of apple ecstacy and a vanila cream myoplex with 1 tbls of of cinnamon now thats good stuff
Proteinfactory CFM Whey Isolate - no bloat, no gas, tastes pretty damn good, but it's a little expensive. I use to use Optimum, but I think PF is superior quality and I'm willing to pay for that.
custom mix of 75% soy and 25% dextrose........all my friends who tried it said it tasted like dirt......but i'm asian so i love the taste of soy products
From what I am reading, the best assimlated and absorbed and utilized protein is ANY 100 % hydrolized WHEY protein. It should be rich in Gluatmine and the branch chained amino acids. Low sugar is also important. After all that, look for price and taste. I too go for the sale or bulk stuff. The trade shows, like Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas last month, sold almost all the proteins at much less than 1/2 price. One can almost stock up for a year !
Whatever is cheapest is what I'm NOT doing anymore. I've had some BAD experiences with quite a few companies. I'm going to find one I like a stick with it. I hear nothing but good about Schwartzlabs though.
