Who else responds to test like this?

I just started back up on TRT. Supposed to give myself 200 mg every other week, which is 1 ml (I know, better to do half the dose weekly, but going along with the doc for now). 2nd injection I had "200" in my head and gave myself 2 ml - 400 mg - by mistake. Wow! I was INSANELY horny for 3 days, walking around with a halfee or better ALL THE TIME. Then, like someone turned a switch off, that went away. "Dicky" quit going to work. Have had to use Viagra to help me out, even.

This same thing happened after a while on TRT last time, and it completely threw me for a loop. This time, I sort of expected it and have been watching for it. What do yall think is happening? I never had a real high estrogen level, and fooled around with different doses of AI (anastrozole) last time, switched to Tamoxifen, nothing helped, no matter where my estrodiol level was. Part of me thinks it's being caused by aromitization (estrogen) just because of the timing of it. But like I said, it didn't matter where my estrogen level was before, once I got the impotence going on, it didn't go away until coming off the test. I passed through some level that my body seemed to like. When I hit that spot again I'm going to go get blood work so I know just what it is!

SO... anyone else react like this? Any ingenious ideas about what's going on?

I think lots of people are like this. Anytime a compound or hormone in the body changes, libido changes.

Yes. Not that it doesn't get hard anymore, but it's a slow process. Before, I'd kiss on my girl and get hard, and now we have to coax the little guy into waking up. I can go down on her while watching a porn and nothing happens. Have to do some rubbing and tugging to get it up. My mood/mind is constantly horny, but my junk doesn't follow along. I'm on 600 mg/week of cyp and MC igf.

So you were Impotent on Testosterone? If you were still horny, but simply couldn't get hard, then remember that testosterone will enlarge your prostate, which hinders good blood flow to your dick, which means half hard ons or none altogether. So i would look into that aspect. N one ever brings that up, and i keep preaching it, but i know its an issue with a lot of guys like this. They do prescribe 5mg daily cialis now for prostate issues, which helps with your exact issue.

Yes, that. Being in the same situation, I completely understand, and my current doc seems to as well. Very happy on a daily dose of Cialis.

Is it possible for the prostate to be enlarged without a significant rise in PSA level? My PSA level was checked routinely and never went above 1.0. A urologist told me there's no way my prostate could be enlarged without elevated PSA level, but I have learned to question everything doctors say...

I tried the daily dose of Cialis, and unfortunately, the only thing Cialis gives me is heartburn. The Sarge was a wet noodle with cialis.

I believe the issue is hormone related, because when the test level drops back down into some magic range, all the plumbing works as it should. I think it's just going to take some experimenting to find the sweet spot, so to speak.

i have to say bro, that statement i bolded of yours leads me to believe its the prostate, higher levels of testosterone will start enlarging ur prostate, and when they come back down it shrinks back up a tad, i could be way way off here, but i would almost bet its a prostate issue. If the DESIRE to have sex, is there, and ur horny and the dick just aint filling up, then prostate it is in my humble opinion, but if the DESIRE is not there to have sex, then it could just be low testosterone levels or something

i have to say bro, that statement i bolded of yours leads me to believe its the prostate, higher levels of testosterone will start enlarging ur prostate, and when they come back down it shrinks back up a tad, i could be way way off here, but i would almost bet its a prostate issue. If the DESIRE to have sex, is there, and ur horny and the dick just aint filling up, then prostate it is in my humble opinion, but if the DESIRE is not there to have sex, then it could just be low testosterone levels or something

EMW, I am struggling with the same issue. Well 375 prop ew (100mg eod) and first 3-4 weeks libido was great. Last week it took a crap. Im wondering if elevated prolactin levels are causing it... Proviron, Prami? possible fixes. Im just now looking into it. Was never a problem before. It works fine, just don't find sex interesting even with some hot strange I found on Monday. that's when I started to realize something is wrong.

A friend of mine's sister is a urological RN. According to her, the prostate can, "absolutely", be enlarged without PSA levels increasing. So I'm pretty much sold on the idea of the ol' dangling disappointment being caused by the prostate swelling from the testosterone. Unfortunately, cialis, even at 5 mg does absolutely zero for me except give me heartburn. I tried it a few months back and couldn't take it long enough to get any effect other than wicked heartburn... I'm going to fool with my TRT dose (adjust up and down) until I find the 'sweet spot", so to speak, and then go f3om there.

I have some proviron on hand, but not 100% convinced it's the real thing. At least one other member here got commented that he thought it was bunk from the same source (LP), though injectables from there are supposedly ok if under dosed.
In any case, thought I'd share what I found out regarding prostate/psa levels..
