I started into fitness my senior year of high school. I was never athletic or good at sports and still not. But just being fit makes up for some lack of god given talent. I'd like to think if I had started earlier then maybe I would of played sports and had more fun in high school. But truth be known was most athletes had parents who supported them like parents support kids. I had to work since middle school so it woulds boiled down to playing sports and being broke or working and actually buying my own shit like a car and clothes. And the 2 mile walk to school got old my freshman year.

Most people see me now and assume I played linebacker in high school. I laugh and say they couldn't be further from the truth.

I know I wish I did. I wonder what would have happened if I would have took my head out of my ass when I was 16 and played football when I was 16 due to my size and the ability to move.

Throughout highschool I did bi's and abs. Never trained anything else.... goof! I picked up BB at 24.

well I started lifting in 9th grade, however the amount of stuff I tech my friends now in a month, took me 5+ years to learn, so the first few years were basically useless bc I didnt know the whats and hows. I did dumb shit like standing shoulder press, and tore my lower back muscle in 9th grade. It wasnt until I was 19 till it started coming together, and 1st cyc but no knowledge of that at the time, so again as far as that goes that info I give 1 of my friends in a single conversation I have to learn over many years

I have been training since my freshman year, but never got serious into building size until I was around 21. I always played sports, but never felt the need to add much size, just stay lean and agile. I played soccer and baseball so the need for being huge wasn't there, but my legs have always been my strong point

I started lifting at 15, so I couldn't have started much sooner. I just wish I'd realized earlier what my genetic limitations were and not believed all the horror stories I'd heard about steroids.
