Do you have one?
Now what do you think are the pros and cons to having them?
I do have some. My problem is none of them are consistant. One guy was very consistant but he just got ingaged and I have not seen him in the gym since (been 3 weeks). I have another, but he lives out of the city and if I have to work late, he cannot accomidate that.
I like them because they do push me harder, and they help me rack/unrack my weight, lmao. For the most part, I need a spot with the training I do. If I don't have one I'm sometimes forced to use machines or train light.
BiggerStronger used to be my workout partner (years ago it seems, lol) but circumstances beyond our control has made it almost impossible to workout together anymore. He was great, he pushed me hard, he lifted heavy, etc. My only thing is he liked to change up training routines more frequent that I like, and I was unwilling to compramise so we'd have to find eachother to get a spot.
My opinion, workout partners are a must.
Secondly, what kind of workout partner do you like? I mean, do you like one that is quiet and just lets you lift and is there just in case? Or do you like one that calls you a bitch because you collapsed on that 3rd set? What other qualities do you liek in a workout partner?
