Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger moved on from professional competition decades ago but hasn’t lost his passion for fitness. In a recent Men’s Health interview, Schwarzenegger shared intense arm and shoulder circuit workouts and revealed his training secrets.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is easily the most popular bodybuilder of all time. He first gained attention for his impressive muscle mass, shape, and symmetry in the late 1960s and early 70s. In eight total appearances at the Mr. Olympia competition, Schwarzenegger won seven titles and was defeated only in his debut. The Arnold Classic contest, widely regarded as the second most prestigious show next to Mr. Olympia, was named after him to celebrate his contributions to the sport.
Schwarzenegger offered a checklist for a healthy diet and some effective ways to optimize recovery earlier this year. He argued against experimenting with different diets in favor of following general guidelines to keep nutrition sources clean.
The 75-year-old encouraged his followers to achieve at least a total of 30 minutes of exercise daily three months ago. He laid out a three-step plan for designing a custom routine to ensure daily activity for half an hour, even if it’s divided into multiple sessions.

Arnold Schwarzenegger advocated for using bodyweight exercises as well. He provided a quick five-minute workout with no equipment to start the day or recommended a warm-up before training. Then, he followed up with his stance on balancing sleep while losing weight. Schwarzenegger explained that people sleeping less than five hours daily were more likely to be overweight. 
Schwarzenegger has no plans to slow down or step away from working anytime soon as he targets living forever. He opened up about struggling to accept his physique with age considering he used to boast one of the best physiques ever in his heyday. He also teamed up with comedians Bert Kreischer and Fortune Feimster for a challenging upper-body workout last week. He mentored the pair through exercises while giving his take on drinking alcohol.

In a recent YouTube video, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared two intense circuit workouts targeting arms and shoulders. He was working out at the popular Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California.
Arm Circuit
“This is what I do every morning, I come in here and do 25 to 30 sets in a half an hour,” said Schwarzenegger. “In the old days we did like 30 sets for shoulders now I do 15 sets.”

1A Machine Preacher Curl: 1 set of 30 reps, then 4 sets of 10-12 reps
1B Machine Dip: 1 set of 30 reps, then 4 sets of 10-12 reps

Schwarzenegger reveals training secrets
‘The Austrian Oak’ revealed his secret for training consistently. He believes in maintaining a routine by working out first thing in the morning and not giving your mind the opportunity to opt out of the exercise. 
“The only reason why someone doesn’t want to go to the gym when they get up is because they were thinking. That’s the biggest mistake you can make.”
“When you train it is not just that your body gets pumped up and gets stimulated with blood but it’s also your mind and you have a much more positive kind of outlook on the day and on life when you’ve had a pump behind you.”
“I was in good shape [back in the 80s], I worked out two hours a day. Cause after having had several heart surgeries and then having had surgeries on my shoulders and knees and all those kind of things, it’s important to kind of protect my body and do therapy training at the same time. So I just do it faster, lighter, but correct exercises and I try to stay young.”
“If you want to go to the gym every day and do your bike ride, training every day, then you roll out of bed and you don’t think. Most important thing is don’t think just do.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger listed four ways to build a strong routine that fits into busy schedules. He highlighted the process of developing habits in a straightforward manner by rewarding the correct behaviors.
He opened up on the PED (performance-enhancing drugs) protocols that he utilized during his days of competing on stage. He also voiced his disapproval of the direction in which bodybuilding appears to be headed due to drug overuse.
Schwarzenegger’s latest offerings will help many improve their training consistency and level up their fitness with the circuit workouts.

Today, Arnold Schwarzenegger is by far and wide the most popular and visible ambassador of the sport. However, it took hard training, discipline, and consistency to get to where he is. In the 1970s and 1980s, Schwarzenegger was a proven force with a one-of-a-kind physique. His popping biceps and full chest were standout features that helped him climb and claw to the top of the IFBB Pro League. 
During Schwarzenegger’s tenure, he was challenged by a handful of icons such as three-time Mr. Olympias Frank Zane and Sergio Oliva. In addition, he competed against Mike Mentzer, who many believe should have defeated Schwarzenegger during his comeback at the controversial 1980 Mr. Olympia competition. Looking back on a decorated career, Schwarzenegger said his toughest battle came against Oliva. 

Schwarzenegger managed to claim a total of seven Mr. Olympia titles just shy of the joint record set years later by eight-time winners Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman. Decades separated from his retirement, fans and bodybuilders alike have wondered about Arnold’s steroid cycles.
‘The Blond Myth’ Lee Priest discussed the topic once and mentioned Dianabol was Schwarzenegger’s favorite compound. Priest explained that times were different back when Schwarzenegger would compete and said athletes didn’t have ‘set rules’ about steroid protocols. Following years of speculation, Schwarzenegger has shared his Olympia-winning cycle, which consisted of Dianabol and testosterone.

According to Schwarzenegger, he used 15 milligrams of Dianabol daily and 100 milligrams of testosterone a week. 

“One hundred milligrams a week and then three dianabol a day. So that was 15 milligrams,” Arnold Schwarzenegger said describing his steroid use. 

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a popular treatment athletes use for muscle maintenance, strength, and a variety of other benefits that aid low testosterone. From powerlifting sensation Larry Wheels to Jay Cutler, TRT continues to have a major impact on athletes’ health in 2023. 
With a sudden spike in bodybuilding deaths over the past three years, Schwarzenegger stressed that people are listening to ‘charlatans’ and ‘don’t know what the ‘fuc* they’re doing.’ He added that people today are more obsessed with shortcuts than consistent hard work. 

“Bodybuilding always, always was considered a safe sport,” he shared. “But now, it’s not. Now people are dying. They’re dying because of overdoses of drugs, and they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. And they’re listening to charlatans. If I want to go and get medical advice from a legitimate doctor, I go to UCLA, or I go to the Cleveland Clinic.”
“Don’t go there,” he says of steroids. “Yes, we are at a time now where we always look for the easy way to make money, the fast way to get rich, the easy way to be an influencer. Any time you abuse the body, you’re going to regret it later on. I want young people to know that I have seen people getting kidney transplants, and suffering tremendously from it,” Schwarzenegger told Men’s Health. 

This isn’t the first time Arnold Schwarzenegger has shined a spotlight on the dangers present in bodybuilding. In 2021, Schwarzenegger said Open bodybuilding is dangerous and that Classic Physique was the future. Given the rate at which athletes were dying, Schwarzenegger was candid, highlighting that bodybuilding had become the most dangerous sport in the world. 
Following the 2022 Mr. Olympia show, Schwarzenegger said the Classic Physique Olympia winner should be crowned the Mr. Olympia title instead of the Open class champion. Some fans agree with Schwarzenegger, as four-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead‘s popularity continues to swell.

‘The Austrian Oak’ followed up with a three-step plan to design a ‘bulletproof’ training routine days later. He promoted his fans to exercise every day for a total of 30 minutes instead of worrying about doing it in one go. Then, Schwarzenegger offered a full-body stretch focused on soothing pain using Brettzel stretches along with a quick two-minute workout challenge.
Schwarzenegger’s impact on the sport is palpable to this day. Former Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout heaped praises on Schwarzenegger for the package he brought to the stage and labeled him the greatest bodybuilder of all time.

Two months ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger highlighted the benefits of using caffeine before workouts to boost performance in the gym. He recommended consuming about 200-300mg of caffeine for most people and cautioned against taking the substance too close to bedtime. His next update provided a straightforward one-step weight loss plan by replacing whole foods with meal-replacement drinks.
The 75-year-old is a big proponent of using self-limiting movements. He laid out an intense bodyweight workout for building muscle weeks ago. He also gave a brief five-minute workout without using any equipment to start your day.

“Arnold says it all the time: If you want amazing results, build automatic routines,” he wrote. “But it’s not always as easy as it seems. How often do you try to follow the routines of others, only to discover that your lifestyle doesn’t align with a 15-step morning plan that requires more time than you have?
“Thankfully, routines don’t need to be overly complicated or detailed. Arnold’s morning routine is simple: wake up, drink coffee, feed the animals, bike to the gym, workout, bike to breakfast. That’s it, and it’s incredibly effective.
“To help simplify the process, we pulled together a few tips of what to do (or avoid) that will help you build a routine that sticks.”
Make it easy to win
Your routine doesn’t need to be long. Start by focusing on just two or three things you’d like to accomplish. Not sure what to select? Look at the bigger picture of what will make the day a win, so — even if things get crazy — you know where your focus needs to be so you can still make any day a success.
Avoid the morning scroll
Some habits can make it harder to build healthier habits. One example is starting your day with social media. We recommend avoiding your social accounts for the first hour of your day. You might be surprised at what happens when you don’t have that distraction.
Turn on your brain
It doesn’t matter if you meditate, read, write, do a crossword, or listen to a podcast. Do something that you enjoy that makes you think. The combination of mental stimulation + enjoyment = positive outcomes. For once, we don’t need to cite a study. You’ll feel better, and that is what matters.
Create a habit loop
Great habits are formed by following a simple system: you need a cue (something that reminds you to act), a behavior (the action or habit), and a reward.
For Arnold, it can look like:

Cue: Friends show up
Behavior: Ride bikes to the gym and lift weights
Reward: Breakfast

Arnold Schwarzenegger advocated for getting more sleep to aid in weight loss efforts last months. He reported sleeping under five hours generally results in added weight and recommended sleeping for about seven to eight hours each night.

In a recent The Hollywood Reporter interview, Schwarzenegger shared his thoughts on the evolution of his physique with age and his ‘plans to live forever.’
Arnold Schwarzenegger first made a name for himself in bodybuilding with an aesthetic blend of muscle, shape, and symmetry in the 1970s. He came out on top of the 1970 Mr. Olympia and enjoyed a commanding reign that saw him ultimately become a seven-time champ.
He hung up his posing trunks after securing his seventh Sandow trophy in 1980. Besides competition, Schwarzenegger was known for his charismatic and brash personality, which was put on full display in the 1977 bodybuilding docudrama Pumping Iron. The film boosted his star power and the sport’s notoriety. 
Following a decorated career, Schwarzenegger made his way to Hollywood and found success with starring roles in numerous box-office hits, including Conan the Barbarian (1982), The Terminator (1984), and Commando (1985).
Schwarzenegger often encourages his massive fanbase to stay healthy. He educated them on the benefits of using caffeine to boost workout performance. He encouraged using it as a pre-workout and cautioned against consuming it too close to bedtime.

In a recent interview, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared his thoughts on the evolution of his physique at 75. He explained that it’s been difficult to accept his body considering his status as a former bodybuilding great. 
When asked what he likes about his 75-year-old body, he responded, “Nothing!”
“My whole life I look at the mirror and see the best-built man, and all of a sudden I see a bunch of crap,” said Schwarzenegger. “It’s terrible! You get these wrinkles under your eyes. You get wrinkles under your pecs. You see the fucking poodle! Budle. It’s Austrian for your stomach sticking out. Where the fuck did that come from? It’s not pleasurable. But you cope with it.”

Schwarzenegger ‘plans to live forever’
‘The Austrian Oak’ revealed he continues to train regularly and enjoys entertaining people. He wants to keep going strong and has no plans to retire anytime soon, if ever.
“I still work out every day, I ride my bike every day, and I make movies — show business is another part of my life,” said Schwarzenegger. “I add in my life, I never subtract. I don’t need money. I get money because you have to have a certain value and the agents negotiate. But I have a great time doing it. I love everything that I do. There’s no retiring. I’m still on this side of the grass, so I’m happy. My plan is to live forever — and so far, so good!”
Arnold Schwarzenegger gave his take on optimizing sleep for weight loss three weeks ago. He encouraged sleeping longer than six hours and ideally, about eight hours, to ensure a lower weight based on research conducted by Harvard scientists.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Leads Workout, Discusses Sleep & Alcohol with Comedians Bert Kreischer & Fortune Feimster

Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s love for the pump was on full display in a special workout collaboration. In a recent YouTube video, Schwarzenegger joined comedians Bert Kreischer and Fortune Feimster for an upper body training session. 
Competing in the 1970s and 80s as a bodybuilding pro, Schwarzenegger reached the top of the sport with exceptional proportions, crazy bicep peaks, and one of the best chests of all time. While navigating his career, Schwarzenegger shared the stage with IFBB Pro League icons such as Frank Zane, Franco Columbo, and Sergio Oliva en route to winning seven Mr. Olympia titles. 
As a movie star and former governor of California, Schwarzenegger is a pioneer of the sport and has played a major role in making bodybuilding more mainstream. In addition to starring in the 1977 docudrama Pumping Iron, the 75-year-old runs the annual Arnold Sports Festival, which he co-created with the late Jim Lorimer in 1989. 

In a change of pace, Schwarzenegger decided to promote his Netflix series FUBAR with comedians Bert Kreischer, and Fortune Feimster. He put them through a four-exercise routine that worked the delts and chest, which you can find below.

Schwarzenegger led the training session and started with machine lat pulldowns. 

“Simple pull-down machine, all the way down until you hit the bottom, and then all the way up, and down, and up, and down,” said Arnold Schwarzenegger. “Bert is next, nice and easy nice and easy, stand up grab the top part [and then sit down]. All the way down, go all the way down. Don’t stretch the biceps, we’re training the wings [delts].” 

During Fortune’s sets, Schwarzenegger instructed her to go deeper into the contraction. 

“No pain, no gain,” said the icon. “I’m just [training] maintaining, but I don’t train heavy anymore too many heart surgeries.” 
“Oh, well those are coming for me,” said Bert Kreischer. 

Bert asks Schwarzenegger to count her set in German. 
“This makes me sound like I’m in trouble,” shared Fortune Feimster. 
Schwarzenegger moved to machine incline presses. Then, he revealed his max deadlift was 710 pounds. 

“For the chest, all the way down and then all the way up,” Schwarzenegger suggested. “A pump up routine: how to get delts and chest. The key thing is to do it the right way, when you go down in squat position, then you use your thighs and back at the same time [for a deadlift]. 710 [pounds was my max deadlift.” 

For his next demonstration, Schwarzenegger offered guidance while performing machine-seated rows. 

“This is a stretch exercise, you stretch and you flex.” 
Schwarzenegger revealed that he commonly used hotel fitness centers for staying in shape during acting projects. According to Arnold, his best movie physique was displayed during Conan, The Barbarian 2. 
“Be careful with the shoulders and just push forward and push them together as much as you can,” said Arnold. “Yes, I’ve had surgeries, shoulders, hips, knees, yeah, the whole body.” 
When asked about the quality of his sleep and alcohol consumption, Schwarzenegger had the following to say: 

“Six or seven hours, yeah very well, not always. No [I don’t drink alcohol]. Not much, not very often, maybe a little bit of wine, but that’s maybe once a week. I used to drink more, like 10 shots of Schnapps, but not anymore.” 

Finally, Schwarzenegger discussed his recently released Netflix series FUBAR. He then stressed that luck doesn’t exist. 
“There’s no such thing as luck, there’s talent, and then talent meets opportunity, that’s luck,” said Schwarzenegger. “For her to jump into a high-action series with big players, it’s an opportunity. Why is there an opportunity? Because the talent is there and everybody thought it was to be funny, the intense scenes, stabbing, throwing, cutting the throat and all that stuff, but there’s comedic stuff too there that makes people laugh.” 
Whether it’s detail-oriented training sessions or advice on living a healthier life, Schwarzenegger is dedicated to longevity. In a previous newsletter, the Austrian native shared how caffeine can serve as a ‘champion performance-enhancer,’ if used as a pre-workout option. 
Schwarzenegger offered the comedians advice on proper form and follow-through despite their lack of experience. Even with his busy schedule, Schwarzenegger is determined to spread the knowledge he’s acquired over the years.

Bodybuilding icon Jay Cutler believes Ronnie Coleman’s physique has stood the test of time. In a recent Don’t Be Sour podcast, Cutler discussed Coleman’s next-level physique, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the role of steroids in bodybuilding. 
Ronnie Coleman cemented himself as an all-time great with eight Mr. Olympia titles from 1998-2005. Sharing the stage with legends like Flex Wheeler, Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray, and Chris Cormier, many consider Coleman to be one of the greatest bodybuilders to ever compete. 
In 2006, Ronnie Coleman was dethroned by his rival Jay Cutler, who managed to secure a total of four Mr. Olympia victories. However, Cutler was defeated by Dexter Jackson in 2008. Ultimately, Cutler would become the only Men’s Open pro to win back an Olympia title, which he accomplished in 2009 while delivering his iconic quad-stomp pose. 

And while it’s been almost 15 years since Coleman stepped on stage, his successor, Cutler, believes no one in the IFBB Pro League has come close to matching the sheer size, volume, and conditioning he displayed throughout his prime.

Cutler believes bodybuilders today have more advantages than athletes who trained during Schwarzenegger’s era. 
“At his point, where bodybuilding was, he was ahead of it, he won seven in a row, I mean some of them he didn’t really have a lot of competition, they weren’t necessarily paid to be bodybuilders on that level where today there’s great revenue to be a bodybuilder right? You get paid and win money.” 

In Jay’s honest opinion, no one has ever come close to Coleman’s physique. 
“By the physique and you know… the transition of time, just Ronnie pushed the physique level to just the crazy conditioning, muscle density quality right? Where, you know, he was like a powerlifter and a bodybuilder together; he broke all weight records and had a crazy physique. To be honest, I mean since Coleman stepped away, I don’t know if anyone has even come close to his physique,” said Jay Cutler. 
There have been plenty of great champions, but Cutler believes Coleman separated himself from his peers with unmatched size.  
“Phil Heath was really good, but not as big and balanced as Coleman was on a size scale, but Phil held his own. Not to say Dexter Jackson hasn’t been great or Big Ramy or Shawn Rhoden or Brandon Curry,” added Cutler. 
Cutler conceded that Arnold Schwarzenegger has done more for the sport than Coleman given his ability to break boundaries and trailblaze. 
“Arnold has done definitely was more on a total scale, I mean to be an actor, the politician, yeah, put the Olympia on the map, like that’s why you could really do this circular pattern of what a GOAT is. It just depends on your description of what the greatest of all time is.” 
Cutler Opens Up on How Steroids Have Changed Since Schwarzenegger’s Era 
According to Cutler, enhancements, training, and workout theories have changed substantially since Scwarzenegger’s time on stage. He added that bodybuilders are now afforded the opportunity to fund themselves better with social media. 
“Definitely the enhancements changed, but the nutrition changed a lot. The equipment that we train on was way different. Yes, free weights and the training theories — like volume training, I think Arnold overtrained himself a lot, they would spend all day working out and not following a nutrition pattern that would fulfill that. Now, as you know, the rest and the growth is done out of the gym. I think their perception was most of the growth was done inside the gym. I feel like the recovery process, remember, now, people are paid to do this so they can allow themselves not to go out and work a secondary job and instead fund themselves with a career.” 
Back when he competed, Cutler mentioned there were times when he needed ‘exotic’ drugs which required him to go overseas. 

“Preparing for each year’s contest, whether you needed exotics or whatever else and that was not legal to get. I mean, at certain times you could maybe buy things overseas, but you still need to bring them to the United States or whatever else,” said Cutler.  “People can get in trouble [for steroids] but remember, the manufacturing, you’re talking about compounding, steroids to whatever else, those seem to be the big reports but if you’re using for general use, I don’t know what the ramifications of that are. I just know it’s something that some people are willing to take to succeed in what they do.” 
The bodybuilding icon stressed that protocols differ depending on the person. When asked if it was possible to win Mr. Olympia drug-free, Cutler dismissed it as a possibility. 
“Every guy is not on the same protocol. Yes, certain guys have to take more or less and there’s certain protocols that people use. Is it necessary? You can do a contest without using and kinds of drugs, but you’ll be at a disadvantage because people ahead of you will use compounds that you’re not. Genetics can only take you so far if that makes sense. Yes [you have to use steroids to win] the current Mr. Olympia, yes.” 
This isn’t the first time that Jay Cutler took a closer look at performance-enhancing drugs in bodybuilding. During a recent Cutler Cast podcast, the Massachusetts native revealed that he generally cycled on and off steroids every few months.  Cutler, who competed against Coleman, admires his rival’s physique for its perfect combination of mass, definition, and shape. Considering his overall package, Cutler is confident that no one has come close to what ‘The King’ presented in his prime years.

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s passion for fitness and bodybuilding rages on to this day. In his latest Daily Pump Newsletter, Schwarzenegger credited sleep for helping with weight loss efforts. 
During the 1970s and 80s, Schwarzenegger led a successful bodybuilding tenure that saw him capture a total of seven Sandow trophies. He shared the stage with fellow veterans of the IFBB Pro League such as former Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout, and former three-time winners Frank Zane and Sergio Oliva. 
Following a successful career, Schwarzenegger co-created the annual Arnold Sports Festival with the late Jim Lorimer. As the second-biggest bodybuilding contest on the calendar, the show has become a major attraction. Last month, Samson Dauda defeated Nick Walker to secure the 35th title. 
In retirement, Schwarzenegger remains dedicated to fitness and longevity. He often shares ‘workout of the week’ segments in his newsletter as he revealed a five-minute no-equipment training routine recently, which he uses to start off his mornings.

According to the research — which reviewed more than 68,000 people — those who slept less than 5 hours per night weighed an average of 5 pounds more than those who slept more than 7 hours per night.
And that wasn’t the only difference. The participants were tracked over a 16-year period, and the researchers found that people sleeping five hours a night or less were 32 percent more likely to experience major weight gain (adding 33 pounds or more over the term) and were 15 percent more likely to become obese.
While it’s hard to qualify a “perfect” amount of sleep — and your body can handle some nights where you sleep less — it appears 6 hours is the minimum, and your best approach is to aim for about 7.5 and 8.5 hours of sleep per night,” Schwarzenegger shared.
Like fitness influencer Joey Swoll’s mission, Schwarzenegger is determined to spread fitness knowledge to the masses. Last month, he revealed a go-to bodyweight workout he utilized during the height of his career. During the training session, the 75-year-old stressed prioritizing intensity to garner the best results.

Aside from training and nutrition, Schwarzenegger believes sleeping more can help with weight loss. He suggests getting at least 6 hours of sleep per night, and ideally 7.5 to 8.5 hours to prevent major weight gain over time.

Bodybuilding legends Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger ruled their respective eras competing in the IFBB Pro League. In a recent YouTube video, Coleman took a closer look at Schwarzenegger’s best ‘old school’ lifts and offered to train with him in the future. 
Schwarzenegger captured a total of seven Mr. Olympia titles throughout the 1970s-80s. Having shared the stage with mainstays like Frank Zane, Samir Bannout, and Sergio Oliva, Schwarzenegger was a giant among Golden Era bodybuilders. Despite setting his sights on other ventures in retirement, Schwarzenegger’s passion for bodybuilding continued as he co-founded the annual Arnold Sports Festival in 1989. 

Decades following Schwarzenegger’s last contest, mass monster Ronnie Coleman reached the height of his pro tenure. He won the Mr. Olympia title in 1998 after receiving help from his rival Flex Wheeler, who introduced him to his long-time trainer, Chad Nicholls. In 2005, Coleman tied Lee Haney for the most Sandows ever won at eight. 
Coleman, known for his strength, possesses a number of impressive lifts like a 2,300-pound leg press and 800-pound deadlift. This time, Coleman examined some of Schwarzenegger’s old-school lifts back when the 75-year-old was in his prime.

“What’s going on guys, Big Ron here, a lot of you guys may already know, me and my buddy Arnold are really  good friends so I thought it would only be appropriate if I did a reaction video to some of his old school lifts, so let’s get into it, yeah buddy!” Coleman said. 
“He must got like 300 pounds on that — oh, that’s 225, oh light weight,” Coleman said watching Schwarzenegger perform incline bench presses. “That’s 225 I think. I think that’s 225, 275, lift it like it ain’t nothing but a peanut.” 

Coleman credits Schwarzenegger for performing intense dumbbell flyes and a few other movements. Then he discusses the training intensity of past Mr. Olympia winners like Dorian Yates and Schwarzenegger. 

“Rowing it like it ain’t nothing, and it ain’t, looking big and huge, oh yeah. No pain no game,” said Coleman. “[he’s] one of them [greatest of all time]. It’s between me, Dorian, and Arnold [for hardest training] I think we were some of the hardest trainers out there. Because Dorian was pretty hardcore.” 
Before Coleman called it a day, he requested a training collaboration with Schwarzenegger to show the new generation of lifters ‘how it’s done.’ 
“Yeah guys, a little training session with all kinds of memories that got back up, days and hours of the gym, training really hard, hitting it really hard, going all out, these guys these days, they don’t do that. So Arnold, I think me and you ought to get together and show these guys how it’s supposed to be done, what do you say about that Arnold, yeah buddy, light weight,” Coleman said. 
This isn’t the first time that Coleman has shared an exciting reaction video. He gave his raw take following a number of painful gym accidents last November. While he enjoyed most of the stunts and accidents, he used the video to urge people to lift safely and use spotters.

Coleman was impressed by Schwarzenegger’s old-school lifts, which showcased his power, skill, and stamina. He named Schwarzenegger as one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, an opinion he shares with Samir Bannout, the 1983 Mr. Olympia winner.

Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has proven his talents in the world of entertainment as an A-list actor. Schwarzenegger recently dropped the trailer for his upcoming Netflix series FUBAR, which is set for premiere on May 25.
Arnold Schwarzenegger started off in professional bodybuilding in the Men’s Open division and led an immensely successful career, racking up seven Sandow trophies over the 1970s and 80s. In 1977, he tested the waters in the acting world with a lead role in the bodybuilding docudrama Pumping Iron alongside fellow legend Lou Ferrigno. The film received major praise and helped boost the sport’s acceptance in mainstream culture. He even founded his own bodybuilding competition named the Arnold Sports Festival, widely regarded for awarding the second most prestigious title in the sport.

Following a decorated career on stage, Schwarzenegger made a full-time switch to acting. He transformed his physique to display a leaner look on screen. It didn’t take him long to find success in Hollywood as he became a superstar with many blockbusters under his belt, including iconic roles in Conan the Barbarian (1982) and The Terminator (1984).
‘The Austrian Oak’ recently suggested utilizing wave training to push through any points of stalled progress a month ago. Aiming to help out his fanbase, Arnold argued that changing the workout routine could provide a unique challenge for the body. He followed that up with an intense 9-minute core workout routine and laid out the importance of incorporating bodyweight exercises for stronger legs and cardiovascular function.
Schwarzenegger encouraged his followers to perform a bodyweight workout of the week for muscle growth a few weeks ago. The training routine focused on adding resistance instead of weights to build muscle. Additionally, Schwarzenegger listed four exercises as part of his no-equipment workout of the week series.

In a recent Instagram post, Schwarzenegger and Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming comedy-action series FUBAR, which is set to launch on May 25.
“Heroes don’t retire. They reload. Watch the trailer for @schwarzenegger’s first series ever! FUBAR premieres May 25.”

Rising Men’s Open contender Andrew Jacked chimed in with a comment.

“Man’s never gonna retire Period,” said Jacked. “He’s always Back.”

Former Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He pushed back on four-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead’s claims of potentially defeating Schwarzenegger two weeks ago.
Schwarzenegger supported the use of ‘cluster sets‘ in his latest workout of the week. He stressed the importance of supersetting exercises to optimize efforts in the training room.
