Eddie Hall Crushes Surprise Pro Wrestling Debut

Eddie Hall Crushes Surprise Pro Wrestling Debut

English Strongman icon Eddie Hall is renowned for his freakish strength. Following his retirement from strongman competition, he became well-known in the fitness community for his athletic abilities. In a recent video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Hall surprised his son and fans by making his pro wrestling debut at Megaslam in the UK.
Eddie Hall first rose to prominence for his incredible feats of strength in the 2010s. He made a name for himself dominating the regional UK circuit, winning several UK’s Strongest Man, Britain’s Strongest Man, and England’s Strongest Man, from 2010 to 2018. Hall qualified for the World’s Strongest Man contest for the first time in 2012. He secured the coveted title at the 2017 WSM by beating fellow legends Hafthor Bjornsson and Brian Shaw. In July 2016, Hall created history by becoming the first athlete to score an insane 500-kg (1,102-pound) conventional deadlift.
Since stepping away from Strongman, Hall tested out an array of different sports. He clashed with Bjornsson in the boxing ring to settle their heated rivalry in March 2022. The 6’2” behemoth lost a considerable amount of weight to prepare for the showdown but eventually lost by unanimous decision.
Hall set his sights on bodybuilding after witnessing the likes of former two-time champion Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay and four-time Classic Physique king Chris Bumstead at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Their performances inspired him to make a splash in competitive bodybuilding.
‘The Beast’ took guidance from IFBB Pro Jamie Christian-Johal, who stands at a massive 6’5″, for a brutal back workout in preparation for his switch to bodybuilding. Then, he enlisted the help of legendary bodybuilder Jay Cutler, a four-time Mr. Olympia, to learn his techniques for developing a wide and thick back.
Powerlifting sensation Larry Wheels is another fitness personality looking to make his move to bodybuilding in the Classic Physique division. Considering their common goal, Hall and Wheels trained together to refine their shoulder development.
Eddie Hall took advantage of a collaborative workout session with seven-time Men’s 212 division Flex Lewis to learn more about training arms and left the fans in awe with an impressive physique update. Then, Hall focused on his posing abilities under professional bodybuilding posing coach Emma Heineman while gearing up for his debut.
Eddie Hall Crushes Surprise Pro Wrestling Debut
In a recent YouTube video, Eddie Hall surprised his son and the fans by making his pro wrestling debut at Megaslam in the UK.
Hall participated in the Royal Rumble and came out on top of the contest. He left the fans stunned by smashing his opponents inside the ring and living up to a heel character. He was held by a wrestler at one point but managed to push his way out of it.

Eddie Hall got the opportunity to be featured in the upcoming Expendables 4. He was seen in the trailer being launched over the bar by legendary filmmaker Sylvester Stallone.
Hall gave fans a look into his preparations with a ‘round pecs’ physique update ahead of his bodybuilding debut. He followed that up by showing off his much leaner physique in another update where he tipped the scales at 385 pounds. He also indicated plans to start his cutting phase in a few weeks.

Eddie Hall Tackles Olympic Lifting and Faces a Brutal Challenge

Eddie Hall Tackles Olympic Lifting and Faces a Brutal Challenge

Even though all strength sports revolve around the same principle, they differ substantially in terms of technique. So, Strongman and Olympic Weightlifting are not interchangeable, despite the fact that the goal is to lift extremely heavy weights in both sports. Eddie Hall is the living proof of this, as the 2016 WSM champion definitely does not lack strength, but he still found himself in quite a predicament when he tried Olympic Weightlifting for the first time.
Eddie Hall recently partnered up with a professional Strongwoman, Chloe Brennan, who has some experience in weightlifting. So, her task was to introduce Hall to the basics of the sport and see how well he could perform. Hall recorded the whole process and posted it on his YouTube channel on June 25th. It displayed him attempting both the Snatch and Clean & Jerk events.

Eddie Hall’s First Time Doing Olympic Weightlifting
The first event in which Eddie Hall had to test his skills was the snatch, but he first had to learn some basic movements since Olympic Weightlifting relies on proper technique and explosive power.
To get used to the movement, Eddie Hall first stretched, after which he performed some overhead squats and hip snatches.
“It’s harder than it looks (the overhead squats)… It is very hard.”
After finding out that Chloe Brennan’s PR on the snatch was 60 kilograms (132 pounds), Eddie Hall set his sights on lifting at least that much weight. He ended up snatching 80 kilograms (176 pounds) with a decent technique, but revealed how difficult it is.
“I’m just feeling my shoulder there, envisioning dislocating the shoulder. I just don’t want that in my life today.”
For reference, Lasha Talakhadze holds the World Record in the Snatch event, which stands at 225 kilograms (496 pounds). Upon finding out about this, Eddie Hall was visibly impressed by Lasha’s lift.
“I’d be lucky to deadlift 225 kilograms (496 pounds) right now, let alone get it above my head.”
Surprisingly, Eddie Hall encountered more trouble in the Clean & Jerk due to mobility. Eddie could not properly grasp the barbell in a front squat position due to his stiffness.
“That is why I do the strict press, just to avoid this nonsense.”
It quickly became apparent that Eddie Hall was unable to perform a front squat with the correct form needed for this event. So, he decided to skip practicing the Clean portion of the exercise and focus solely on the Jerk.
The Jerk practice started off poorly for Eddie, but he quickly got on track and nailed the movement.
“It’s safe to say, It’s not for me… Not successful, but the snatch was alright… I can appreciate that (Snatch), but the Clean & Jerk, I think I can work on that for a very long time and not go anywhere.”

It is not surprising that Eddie Hall was more comfortable with the snatch since he already has experience with a similar movement. In fact, he holds the World Record for the fastest time to lift 30 repetitions of a 60-kilogram (132-pound) barbell from floor to overhead. To set this record, Hall utilized a motion similar to Snatches, but he used his strength to achieve it instead of the proper technique.
Eddie Hall obviously enjoys venturing out into different sports, as this Olympic Weightlifting training session is just a one-off from his Bodybuilding training. Despite being a former Strongman, Eddie Hall plans to compete in a bodybuilding competition in 2024. So, he will continue preparing for his debut with his usual training sessions and leave Olympic Weightlifting behind.

Eddie Hall Shows Off Abs at 385 Lbs in Latest Physique Update: ‘The Cut Starts in 8 Weeks’

Eddie Hall Shows Off Abs at 385 Lbs in Latest Physique Update: ‘The Cut Starts in 8 Weeks’

Strongman legend Eddie Hall is determined to make a statement in his 2024 bid as a bodybuilder. In a recent Instagram post, Hall shared a cement-cracking 385-pound physique update with visible abs and revealed he will start to cut weight in eight weeks.
Eddie Hall is a man of many talents. He held the heaviest deadlift world record before his rival Hafthor Bjornsson took the honor from him in 2020. Looking to settle their differences, Hall and Bjornsson agreed to a boxing match in 2022. It was a strange but exciting affair that saw Bjornsson get his hand raised via unanimous decision.
Hall, who is known for his eccentric personality and competitive nature, decided to try out bodybuilding. Following the performances of four-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead and former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay at 2022 Mr. Olympia, Hall was inspired to compete.

In preparation for his big debut, Hall has taken part in various training sessions and posing seminars. In May, the famed strongman joined professional posing coach Emma Heineman for a routine. And judging by some of his updates, Hall plans to bring a beastly package to the Classic Physique division soon.
Eddie Hall Tipping Scales at 385 Lbs, Says ‘Cut’ Starts in 8 Weeks: Fans React
The strongman-turned-bodybuilder Hall revealed he was weighing 385 pounds and shared that he will start cutting weight in two months.
“The Cut starts in 8wks⏰ 385lbs@theposingpro ?” Eddie Hall shared.

Fans were immediately taken aback by Eddie’s update, especially considering that he has visible abs at almost 400 pounds.

Surprisingly, Eddie Hall isn’t the only famous strongman to give bodybuilding a try. Larry Wheels will also test the waters in the Classic Physique division. Despite his inexperience in the new sport, Larry’s coach mentioned that he believes Wheels can be competitive against the world’s best using only testosterone replacement therapy.
Eddie Hall has taken calculated measures before stepping on a bodybuilding stage. Earlier this year, he teamed up with seven-time 212 Olympia Flex Lewis for a rare bodybuilding versus strongman collaboration. They trained arms together and shared respective physique updates afterward.

Aside from bodybuilding ventures, Eddie Hall is known for his massively successful YouTube channel and social media presence. He reacts to painful gym fails, and teams up with other fitness influencers. One of the last times fans saw ‘The Beast’ in action, Jesse James West pranked him by pulling a ton of fake weights.

While it certainly looks like an uphill climb for Eddie Hall as far as bodybuilding goes, a competitor of his stature and determination should never be counted out or underestimated. Fans will have a better idea of his targeted physique in eight weeks when he begins cutting weight.

Strongman Eddie Hall Shows Off ‘Round Pecs’ in Recent Bodybuilding Update

Even though he’s not recording a deadlift record or a feat of strength, strongman legend Eddie Hall still knows how to wow an audience. In a recent Instagram post, Hall flashed an upshot of his pecs in a physique update and called out his future rival, Chris Bumstead.
Hall is ready to flex his muscles as a bodybuilder in 2024. Earlier this year, the former strongman champ revealed his plan to switch to the new sport. He said he was inspired by four-time Classic Physique Olympia Bumstead and former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay. Despite his weight exceeding that of a baby elephant, ‘The Beast’ said he wanted to pack on some more meat and then ‘do a trim’ for his first show. And based on his latest chest selfie, he’s getting closer to that big debut.

Hall tagged Bumstead in his post, and the Classic Physique Olympia king gave him some love. He sent him two melon emojis to cheer him on for his bodybuilding dream. Hall, who keeps getting more ripped, has been sharing his progress and even some posing videos before his big day.

When Eddie Hall isn’t showing off his voluminous pecs, he’s entertaining a crowd. He recently took part in an Expendables 4 trailer appearance. During the action-packed montage, Sylvester Stallone launched the 35-year-old strongman over a metal bar. Given Sly’s age of 76, fans were flabbergasted by his strength as tossing a man of Hall’s size is no easy feat.

Whether he’s reacting to painful gym fails or being pranked by Jesse James West with fake weights, Hall’s eccentric personality makes for some interesting interactions. Unafraid to laugh at himself, Hall knows how to catch a fan’s interest, and he especially knows how to keep it.

76-YO Sylvester Stallone Launches Eddie Hall Over Bar in ‘Expendables 4’ Trailer

76-YO Sylvester Stallone Launches Eddie Hall Over Bar in ‘Expendables 4’ Trailer

American filmmaking icon Sylvester Stallone is easily one of the most prolific action stars with an influence that spans generations. Despite being in his later years, he continues to deliver exciting films in the same vein. In the first trailer for the upcoming movie Expendables 4, Stallone launched former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall over a bar.
Sylvester Stallone first showed his caliber in the entertainment world in the 1970s. He gained attention for his insanely shredded physique as well as refined writing and acting abilities with a starring role in the first installment of the massively popular Rocky film franchise. He portrayed a boxer on the path to winning the world championship against all odds, much like his inspirational real-life journey to finding worldwide acclaim from humble beginnings.
Stallone’s impact on the sporting world is undeniable. Legendary Strongman Eddie Hall paid tribute to Stallone while training in boxing in preparation for his bout with fellow strongman Hafthor Bjornsson in Jun. 2020.
In Mar. 2021, Stallone reflected on his time playing Rocky with a throwback photo of his leanest look ever. He revealed he got down to a crazy 2.8% body fat to get ready for the final fight scene of Rocky III (1982).
Although Stallone doesn’t have the same physique anymore, he has not lost his passion for fitness and continues to train regularly. He left the fans stunned with a workout update showing off his gigantic arm muscle development in Jun. 2021. Then, he reinvoked the spirit of Rocky to throw fast hands in a heavy bag workout.
While Rocky may be his most well-known role, Stallone also led several other blockbuster film series such as Rambo. In 2010, he formed a star-studded team of top talent across the film industry and combat sports to launch The Expendables franchise, featuring the likes of renowned action star Jason Statham, martial artist Jet Li, Scott Adkins, UFC legend Randy Couture, and more.

Sylvester Stallone announced Hall would be added to the cast for the fourth Expendables film in an antagonistic role in Oct. 2021. Ever since the announcement, fans have been excited to check out how the enormous strength athlete would look in the movie.
Stallone took a trip down memory lane and issued a motivational message on persevering through the challenges in pursuit of your dreams in Apr. 2022. Then, he inspired fans with another message boasting his enormous biceps a few months later.

In the trailer for Expendables 4, Sylvester Stallone threw Eddie Hall over the bar in an action-packed scene that lasted about half a second in the promo.

Sylvester Stallone cautioned fitness enthusiasts against working out too hard two months ago. He referenced Bruce Lee in his warning while educating his fans on the long-term effects of strenuous movements.
Meanwhile, Eddie Hall is gearing up to make a splash in bodybuilding after taking inspiration from former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay and reigning four-time Classic Physique Olympia winner Chris Bumstead.

2023 WSM Mitchell Hooper Attempts Eddie Hall’s Infamous ‘Death By Deadlift’ Set

2023 WSM Mitchell Hooper Attempts Eddie Hall’s Infamous ‘Death By Deadlift’ Set

Mitchell Hooper is a man who loves a good challenge, which is evident by the videos he shares on YouTube. Just one week ago, Hooper attempted and successfully completed the “Tom Platz’s 525-pound Squat Challenge“, but he has already upped the ante. In his most recent YouTube video, Mitchell Hooper attempted to perform Eddie Hall’s “Death By Deadlift” set.
Eddie Hall was the first man to deadlift 500 kilograms (1,102.3 pounds) back in 2016. That same year, during his prime, Eddie invented the “Death By Deadlift” set. The goal of the set was to start the first rep with only one plate on each side of the barbell. Then, another plate was added to each side, and he performed the rep without rest. This process was repeated until there were ten plates on each side, or 420 kilograms (926 pounds) in total.

Once the top weight was reached, the spotters took out one plate from each side, with Hall performing reps until only one plate was left on the barbell.
So, Eddie Hell performed one rep with each of the following weight increments: 60-kg / 100-kg / 140-kg / 180-kg / 220-kg / 260-kg / 300-kg / 340-kg / 380-kg / 420-kg / 380-kg / 340-kg / 300-kg / 260-kg / 220-kg / 180-kg / 140-kg / 100-kg / 60-kg.
Even in his prime, this set left Eddie Hall completely exhausted and on his knees. In fact, in 2021 Hall referred to this as his “most impressive deadlift session” ever.

Mitchell Hooper’s “Death By Deadlift” Attempt
Mitchell Hooper first gave credit where credit is due and revealed that he recognizes Hall as one of the greatest ever. This also meant that Hooper understood just how difficult this feat of strength is.
“There is no losing in a way because this is such a ridiculous feat… This is against probably, arguably, the best deadlifter of all time…
However, while Eddie Hall used 20-kilogram plates, Mitchell Hooper opted for 45-pound plates which are 0.4 kilograms heavier each. So, his set was even more difficult than Hall’s original one.
“I’m not interested in tying records. We are going to be using the pound plates… meaning we are going to be working up to 428 kilograms.”
Mitchell Hooper also attempted to replicate Hall’s setup as much as possible, opting to use only a lifting belt and lifting straps, as well as a standard barbell.
“It looked like Eddie did it on a gym bar, a standard barbell. So, it would be cheating to do it on a deadlift bar… I’m going to do it with figure eights (lifting straps) like he did.”
Mitchell Hooper started the set off very strongly, but his attempt stopped once he successfully locked out the second-to-last ascending repetition. So, once it was time to put on the final plate on each side, plates started sliding off from his barbell, and the “Death By Deadlift” challenge concluded.
“It’s attempt one. I reckon it is there. I was having some strap issues, but I think it is there… 380-kg was a grinder. It felt better than I anticipated… I’ll definitely go again. I’ll definitely have another crack at some stage.
Mitchell Hooper does not consider this attempt a failure, purely due to the level of difficulty it carries. His performance was still impressive, but a lot of reps were still left in the set.
“Just to reiterate, this is an attempt at probably the greatest deadlift strength feat, in my opinion, of all time. This is up there with 500 and 501 (kilograms).”

Although Mitchell Hooper did not manage to successfully complete Eddie Hall’s deadlift set, his Strongman career shows that he is the perfect candidate for this incredible feat. Since he began competing in Strongman a year ago, Hooper has participated in 10 international competitions, winning five of them. His most notable victories are the 2023 Arnold Strongman Classic and 2023 World’s Strongest Man.
Mitchell Hooper has gained a reputation for being a record-breaker. So, he will give his all to succeed in performing the “Death By Deadlift” set once again. One thing is certain, whenever Mitchell attempts this challenge again, he will make sure to put on a performance for the history books.

Eddie Hall Learns Posing from Pro Coach Ahead of Anticipated Bodybuilding Debut

Eddie Hall Learns Posing from Pro Coach Ahead of Anticipated Bodybuilding Debut

Strongman legend Eddie Hall is well-respected in the fitness community for his superhuman strength and athletic abilities. Although he moved on from professional competition years ago, he continued expanding his creative footprint in sporting ventures. In a YouTube video, Hall shared a posing session led by pro coach Emma Heineman ahead of his highly anticipated debut in bodybuilding.
Eddie Hall enjoyed a highly successful career as a strongman athlete. He dominated the UK regional scene in the 2010s and earned his first qualification to the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2012. He racked up several national titles working his way up at the WSM ladder over the next five years. In 2016, Hall created history by becoming the first person to deadlift 500-kg (1,102lbs) and finally secured the coveted WSM title in 2017. He doesn’t compete actively now but serves as a lead ambassador for the sport.
The English star boxed fellow strongman Hafthor Bjornsson in a match billed ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History.’ The two titans clashed for six rounds last year with Bjornsson getting the nod on the judges’ scorecards. Although there were talks of another outing, they decided against it. As a result of the loss, Hall was forced to tattoo Thor’s name on his foot.
Hall teamed up with iconic Strongman Brian Shaw for a grueling shoulder workout last November. The former rivals pushed each other in training as Shaw took the lead in guiding Hall through his home gym. Aside from strongman, Hall announced his plans to switch to competitive bodybuilding earlier this year.
The decision to body-build was made possible after Hall witnessed the incredible physiques of reigning four-time Classic Physique Olympia champ Chris Bumstead and former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay in December 2022.

‘The Beast’ is furiously training for his next athletic venture. He smashed a heavy chest workout with his son Maximus and influencer Jesse James West a few months ago. Then, Hall joined forces with IFBB Pro bodybuilder Jamie Christian-Johal for a taxing back workout and later reunited for an epic chest workout.
In addition to training, Hall is open about his nutrition. Eddie Hall reflected on eating about 15,000 calories a day to compete at the highest level during his Strongman career. He said his limit was reached after consuming more than 20,000 calories in a single day.
As of late, Hall enlisted the help of legend Jay Cutler for an upper body workout in hopes of adding some much-needed knowledge to his bodybuilding repertoire. The four-time Mr. Olympia praised Hall’s work ethic while offering tips on maximizing the pump.
Eddie Hall learns posing from pro coach ahead of anticipated bodybuilding debut
In his latest undertaking, Eddie Hall shared a posing session where he was guided by professional coach Emma Heineman in preparation for his debut in competitive bodybuilding.
Hall weighed in at 175 kgs (386 pounds) and revealed the front lat spread as his favorite pose. He started with a front-facing pose while Heineman guided him through the maneuvers.
“What I’m finding is, Strongman is just moving A to B as efficiently as possible,” said Hall. “You don’t really think about what muscles you use. With bodybuilding, I’m slowing it down and I’m like right activate this muscle. You can literally feel muscles you haven’t usually used before kick in and they’re just growing like crazy.”
“I actually like the front lat spread.”

Eddie Hall continues to impress by showing off steady physique updates. He collaborated with Men’s 212 legend Flex Lewis for a laborious arm workout session recently. He’s scheduled to captain Team UK for the upcoming 2023 World’s Strongest Nation contest, set for Nov. 18 in Liverpool, England.

Jesse James West Pranks Eddie Hall With 675-lb Deadlift Using Fake Weights

Jesse James West Pranks Eddie Hall With 675-lb Deadlift Using Fake Weights

English Strongman icon Eddie Hall first made a name for himself with his crazy feats of strength in competition. Although he stepped away from competing years ago, he continued to expand his footprint in the fitness world. In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, Jesse James West pranked Hall by recording some massive lifts using fake weights.
Eddie Hall kicked off his professional Strongman career in 2010 with a dominant win at England’s Strongest Man contest. He worked his way up the ranks and qualified for the World’s Strongest Man competition for the first time in 2012. He was at the height of his powers for the 2016/17 season when he set a new World Record on the deadlift of 500-kg (1,102-lb) and secured the coveted WSM title.
Hall took on fellow Strongman legend Hafthor Bjornsson inside the boxing ring in a bout billed ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’ in March 2022. He dropped weight preparing for the contest and presented a leaner look. However, he failed to get the nod on the judges’ scorecards.
Earlier this year, Eddie Hall took inspiration from former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay and reigning four-time Classic Physique champion Chris Bumstead’s performances at the 2022 Mr. Olympia and announced his switch to competitive bodybuilding. He plans to make his debut in late 2024 at a weight of around 320 pounds (145.1-kg).
Eddie Hall teamed up with IFBB Pro bodybuilder Jamie Christian-Johal for an intense back workout to get ready for the move four months ago. The duo collaborated again for a laborious chest training session weeks later. Then, Hall performed a brutal back workout to improve his physique.
The 35-year-old opened up on the challenges of competing at the highest level in Strongman three months ago. He revealed he’d consume about 15,000 calories a day and even wolfed down 20,000 calories in a single day once. He stressed the importance of proper recovery for optimal performance.

Eddie Hall joined forces with legendary bodybuilder Jay Cutler for a grueling upper body workout two months ago. The four-time Mr. Olympia praised Hall’s work ethic after mentoring him through the session. Hall later partnered with powerlifting sensation Larry Wheels, who’s preparing for his Classic Physique debut; they took part in a taxing shoulder workout.
Internet sensation Jesse James West amassed a huge following on social media with his entertaining content centered around fitness. Besides playing pranks, he tries out different workout plans, gyms, and diets. He put the nine tenets of ancestral living to the test by trying to live like Liver King for over two days under the guidance of the man himself last August.
Jesse James West Pranks Eddie Hall with Fake Weights
In a recent YouTube video, Eddie Hall got tricked by Jesse James West into believing the latter recorded some insane lifts when he was actually using fake weights.

Jesse started with Squats using weights as follows:

West played a similar prank on bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman earlier this year. He misled the eight-time Mr. Olympia into thinking he lifted 700 pounds on the squat before revealing he used fake weights for the stunt. He also collaborated with top strongman contenders Luke and Tom Stoltman for a Strongman-style training session three months ago.
Although Hall was aware of the possibility fake weights could be involved, West’s acting skills convinced him otherwise.

Eddie Hall & Martins Licis Revealed as Captains for 2023 World’s Strongest Nation

Eddie Hall & Martins Licis Revealed as Captains for 2023 World’s Strongest Nation

Giants Live has announced exciting news regarding one of their competitions later this year. This event is called 2023 World’s Strongest Nation, and it will be held in Liverpool, England on November 18th, 2023. This competition will feature two nations, “Team UK” and “Team USA”. However, someone has to be there to lead the teams, which is why Eddie Hall and Martins Licis will be captains of their own teams.
This will be the second edition of the 2023 World’s Strongest Nation contest, as the same two countries battled in 2022 as well. In addition, both Eddie Hall and Martins Licis were also the captains of Team UK and Team USA last year as well. However, the original captain for Team USA was supposed to be Robert Oberst, but he withdrew for unknown reasons and Licis took over the role.
Eddie Hall and Martins Licis now have some time to analyze and think about who the members of their teams will be. Both men will choose four men and four women who will compete for the glory of their nation.

Related: Nick Best Reveals How a Bench Press Injury Saved His Life from Cancer
During last year’s clash between Teams UK and USA we got to see some exciting events and mind-blowing feats of strength. The most notable one came from Gabi Dixson who put up an incredible performance during the Hercules Hold event. Gabi managed to outperform the majority of athletes in this event, including both men and women. The only athlete she could not beat was the legendary Mark Felix, who held the pillars 20 seconds longer than her. However, she still beat the likes of Martins Licis, Kevin Faires, and Gavin Bilton.
The 2022 World’s Strongest Nation competition ended with Team UK outperforming Team USA. Accordingly, it is reasonable to expect that Team USA will make additional roster changes this year. However, the full lineups will also be revealed soon enough.
Eddie Hall and Martins Licis have both shown their great abilities as leaders, but that is mostly due to their incredible careers. Both men have been crowned as the World’s Strongest Man, Hall in 2016 and Licis in 2019.
Eddie Hall was also the first man to deadlift 500 kilograms (1,102.3 pounds), but the record was later broken by Hafthor Bjornsson. A few years later, the resentment between Hall and Bjornsson grew and they arranged a boxing match. Hall lost on a decision from the judges and began a new chapter in his life. He is now preparing for his bodybuilding debut which is scheduled to take place in late 2024.
On the other hand, Martins Licis is still a very active Strongman athlete who has won eight major competitions during his career, including one in 2022. Flex Lewis and Strongman Eddie Hall Destroy Brutal Arm Workout & Share Physique Updates

Flex Lewis and Strongman Eddie Hall Destroy Brutal Arm Workout & Share Physique Updates

Known for some of the biggest biceps and triceps the 212 division has seen, Flex Lewis joined strongman Eddie Hall for a vicious arm workout. During the YouTube collaboration, Lewis guided Hall through a four-exercise routine that focused on technique and proper form.
Having led a career lasting over a decade in the IFBB Pro League, Flex Lewis separated himself from his peers with shocking muscle volume and granite conditioning. Employing grit and sheer determination, Lewis would capture a total of seven 212 Olympia titles consecutively. He proved himself against some of the division’s top names, such as Derek Lunsford, Shaun Clarida, and Jose Raymond.
Even though Lewis has redirected his focus away from bodybuilding, he still loves the sport and what it stands for. He routinely shares unique and thought-provoking training tips and sessions online. Given the footprint he left on the 212 division, fans listen when Lewis has something to say regarding exercise.

Eddie Hall, on the other hand, is a famous strongman competitor who built his career having attained a number of accolades and records. Hall was the 2017 World’s Strongest Man winner and temporarily held the all-time world deadlifting record of 500 kilograms until his nemesis Hafthor Bjornsson broke it with 501 kilograms in 2020.
In their latest undertaking, Lewis and Hall joined hands for a demanding arm workout, where the former seven-time 212 Olympia offered the strongman legend pointers on growing the biceps/triceps.

“I think we’re going to smash arms — biceps and triceps — I’ve actually not done an arms session in a bodybuilding format yet, so this will be a good one,” said Eddie Hall.
After pushing through multiple sets of cable triceps pushdowns, Lewis gave his thoughts on training with Hall.
“Whatever you go from there, you already got 3 or 400 reps and this is – fu** I don’t care who it is, I’ve trained with Brian Shaw, a lot of strongmen, it’s just a different style of training,” said Lewis.
Next, the duo moved on to incline dumbbell skull crushers.
“Try and get your neutral grip, and fire in a really good stretch, I come off my shoulders, but start off with the front delts but then gradually take it as far back as you can,” explained Lewis.
Flex and Eddie followed up the session with machine triceps extensions.
For their final movement, Lewis and Hall performed a few sets of dumbbell biceps curls, a common staple in most arm workouts.

“Well, what you’re trying to do is just neutral to the side, pinky up, pinky up as much as you can and squeeze and just think of cupping like you’ve got nothing there right now, you’re just trying to squeeze like a nut in between, squeeze that gap. You’re trying to squeeze that bicep as much as you can.”
“Power, hit the neutral button, come up, and squeeze and slow down on the descent,” added Lewis. “Turn that wrist [to maximize the contraction].”
“He’s put more size on me in 30 minutes than I would have in two hours, to be honest,” said Hall.
“He’s the only guy probably in 10 years plus to see my top off, am I right?” said Flex Lewis.
After the two pushed each other throughout the session, the pump covers came off, and Lewis still appears to be in fantastic shape despite retiring one year ago. In a special one-on-one sit down with Steve Kuclo, Lewis said he would only follow through with a competitive return for a seven-figure deal.
Meanwhile, Eddie Hall continues to train while creating YouTube content. The last time fans heard from ‘The Beast,’ he took part in a fun reaction video where he offered his two cents on a handful of crazy gym fails.
Given the latest collaboration, it’s safe to say Flex Lewis hasn’t completely shut the door on a possible return. As for Hall, he’s appreciative of the techniques Lewis shared because they differ from the methods he would often use in strongman.
