Fighter Who Competed On Recent Floyd Mayweather Undercard Accuses ‘Money’ Of Not Paying Her 2 Weeks After The Event

Fighter Who Competed On Recent Floyd Mayweather Undercard Accuses ‘Money’ Of Not Paying Her 2 Weeks After The Event

One of the athletes who competed on the undercard of the most recent Floyd Mayweather-headlined event has called out the all-time boxing great for not yet paying out her purse.
Sammy-Jo Luxton, a renowned British Muay Thai competitor who’s won European and British titles in the striking-only sport, made her boxing debut at The O2 arena last month. At the February 26 event, topped by Mayweather’s latest exhibition bout, “Ghetto Cinderella” emerged victorious over fellow newcomer Hayley Barraclough.

But while Luxton marked one of the standout performers prior to Mayweather’s outing opposite English reality TV star Aaron Chalmers, it appears that not everything has gone smoothly regarding the event.
Luxton Calls For Mayweather To Pay Her Purse: “Your Girl Needs To Eat”
On Thursday, Luxton responded to a report of Mayweather’s plans moving forward, which includes as many as five more exhibition contests in different countries this year. But before “Money” focuses on new cards, Luxton has called for him to live up to his moniker and focus on completing his commitments from the last.
In a now-deleted tweet, the English native revealed that she’s yet to see the money she earned at the London-held event almost two weeks ago.
“Before Mayweather does all of these exhibitions for $$$$, can I get paid first for the one two weeks ago???” Luxton wrote. “Cause I’m still waiting and your girl needs to eat.”

While a two-week delay isn’t too significant, Mayweather has history when it comes to public accusations of late payments. Notably, the 15-time world champion was accused of failing to pay YouTube star Logan Paul following their 2021 exhibition bout.
That back and forth became so drawn out that Paul was even reported to have sued Mayweather for an undisclosed amount early last year. Luxton will certainly be hoping to avoid her early frustrations reaching that stage.
Beyond securing payment for her boxing debut, Luxton has an upcoming venture into MMA to prepare for. “Ghetto Cinderella” was confirmed to have made an MMA switch and signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) last month.
What do you make of claims Floyd Mayweather is yet to pay out for the UK-held event in February?

Jake Paul Challenges Floyd Mayweather To Put 50-0 Record On The Line In Real Fight, Refuses To ‘Rob Fans’ With Exhibition

Jake Paul Challenges Floyd Mayweather To Put 50-0 Record On The Line In Real Fight, Refuses To ‘Rob Fans’ With Exhibition

YouTuber-turned-pugilist Jake Paul has called for boxing legend Floyd Mayweather to put his undefeated record on the line in a professional bout.
While he made his name as an internet personality and Disney star, Paul has since spread his wings into the combat sports world through seven professional appearances. Last time out, “The Problem Child” fell to defeat for the first time in his career, with British pro Tommy Fury earning the nod on two of the three judges’ scorecards in Saudi Arabia.
Although an immediate rematch appears to be on the table owing to clause in Paul’s contract, a fresh option presented itself this week courtesy of a public altercation.
On Wednesday, Paul almost came to blows with Mayweather and his large entourage outside the Miami-Dade Arena. In footage released by TMZ Sports, the 26-year-old Cleveland native can be seen running from the group after threats of violence.

Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) March 9, 2023

Since then, Paul has made a number of comments online. In one video, he accused Mayweather and his team of waiting for him outside the stadium, and also defended his decision to quickly depart the situation.
Now, the polarizing online star has laid down a challenge.
Paul Calls Out Mayweather Following Public Confrontation
While Paul was building his prominence in combat sports through professional bouts against mixed martial arts veterans, Mayweather was maintaining his own presence in the sport.
The 15-time world champion has featured in numerous exhibition bouts, including against a British YouTuber and former opponent of Paul’s in Deji Olatunji last November. Just last month, “Money” made his UK debut against former MMA fighter and reality TV star Aaron Chalmers.
In a recent tweet following their public clash, Paul revealed he’s been offered exhibition matches opposite Mayweather in the past. But believing that would be “robbing” the fans, the 26-year-old called for the legendary pugilist to put his undefeated record on the line in a “real fight.”
“Floyd will not see me 1 on 1 in a real fight. That’s a fact,” Paul wrote. “His team has hit my team numerous times to do one of his ‘exhibitions’. Now he ambushes me. Come see me in the ring, real fight, no exhibition robbing fans bullsh*t.”

Floyd will not see me 1 on 1 in a real fight. That’s a fact. His team has hit my team numerous times to do one of his “exhibitions”. Now he ambushes me ?. Come see me in the ring, real fight, no exhibition robbing fans bullshit.— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) March 9, 2023

Paul’s comments about exhibition bouts come in spite of his brother Logan competing in one such contest against Mayweather back in 2021. Incidentally, that’s also where Jake’s feud with “Money” appears to have started.
While in attendance at a pre-fight press conference, Paul sparked chaos by removing Mayweather’s hat. With that, as well as the latest clash, the groundwork has certainly been laid for a future collision inside the squared circle.

Logan Paul Claims Floyd Mayweather Has Not Paid Him For Fight

Logan Paul Claims Floyd Mayweather Has Not Paid Him For Fight

Logan Paul says he is owed money from Floyd Mayweather.
Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather met for an exhibition fight back in June. There was no winner, little excitement, and it was a downright laughable event. What they did have was plenty of viewers and plenty of money made. Well, for one side. Paul has claimed that Mayweather has still not paid him for their fight over six months later.
Both Paul and Mayweather have shown a mutual respect for one another recently but that seems to be ending. Logan Paul, who has become a sensation in boxing along with his brother Jake Paul, made the transition from YouTube to boxing. Both Paul brothers are still active on social media and this is where Paul called out Mayweather.

“Pay me my money u f***ing corny weasel of a human @floydmayweather,” Paul wrote in a caption on an Instagram story.
It is hard to know if Logan Paul is being serious or if this is just another trolling on social media. This is something that the Paul brothers have become known for. Paul has made plenty of money during his career but if true, the amount of money that Mayweather is withholding could be large.
The Paul vs. Mayweather exhibition took place on pay-per-view and was a success. There were over one million buys on Showtime. This is something that Mayweather said he will not do again — even after earning a huge payday. The boxer claims he earned $100 million for the appearance.
“I’m the only person that can do a fake fight and get 100 M’s. I could do legalized sparring and get 100 M’s,” Floyd Mayweather said while exiting a press conference. “Am I the best bank robber? Because I don’t know nobody in sports that’s my age and can still stick ‘em up like that.”

Known as ‘Money’ Mayweather, Floyd has a perfect 50-0 record in his boxing career. Mayweather is a controversial fighter for his style, which is the opposite of a heavyweight fighter. Mayweather has 27 knockout victories in his career and was always content dancing around the ring using strategy. This is a method that brought praise from some and criticism from others.
As for Logan Paul, began boxing in 2018 when he took on fellow YouTuber ‘KSI.’ This match ended in a draw before Paul lost their rematch by split decision. Jake Paul has recently moved to 5-0 after a knockout victory over Tyron Woodley.
The Paul brothers have become big names in boxing, mostly because of their antics outside the ring. It was questionable why Mayweather even agreed to this fight in the first place but he allegedly got a massive payday out of it. The same cannot be said about Logan Paul at the moment.
All of the details of this storyline have not been released but we do know there is trolling going on by Paul. It will be interesting to see if Floyd Mayweather is actually holding money and if he will pay up.

Talking Huge With Craig Golias | EP 2: Bodyguarding, Crazy Fight Stories, & Bodybuilding

Talking Huge With Craig Golias | EP 2: Bodyguarding, Crazy Fight Stories, & Bodybuilding

[embedded content]
Craig Golias and Vlad Yudin discuss Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather, crazy bodyguard stories, social media & bodybuilding, and how pro bodybuilding is the hardest sport of them all.
Welcome to another episode of Talking Huge – a weekly digital series in which Craig Golias talks in-depth with Vlad Yudin on the latest trending topics in bodybuilding. Raw, honest, and uncut – Craig Golias shares his opinions on all things bodybuilding. In this episode, Craig Golias talks about how the Logan Paul boxing match was boring, his craziest bodyguard stories, and how social media ruined the sport of bodybuilding.

Craig Golias has had quite the rollercoaster of a career. Before becoming a bodybuilder he was a male stripper and a bodyguard. This led to a large variety of crazy and entertaining stories. Some of which Craig discusses in this episode. He was also a competitive bodybuilder before hanging up the towel and focusing on his brand and being an influencer. He shares some stories from his competitive days and why he decided to step down.
He also shares his opinion on how social media affected the sport of bodybuilding. Social media has certainly benefited Craig – but he thinks it has ruined the sport for pure competitive athletes. He also comments about the hardest parts about competitive bodybuilding – stating that it’s the hardest sport in the world.
Logan Paul Vs Floyd Mayweather – “It Was Boring”
Craig Golias and Vlad Yudin’s conversation in this episode came straight off the heels of the much hyped and controversial Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match. Ultimately, Logan Paul lasted the entire match against Mayweather. No knockout occurred. This was a good look for Logan Paul – who was going up against one of the greatest boxers in recent memory.
But to Craig Golias, the boxing match was boring. Because there was no knockout – the fight pretty much slugged along. As far as boxing matches go – Craig found it pretty uneventful. If it weren’t for the two names being so massively popular, this would be a boxing match unremembered.

Vlad Yudin asks Craig if he would ever step in the ring for an exhibition match. Perhaps for charity. Craig Golias admits he’s not much of a fighter – and prefers to stay out of combat. Vlad then asked him theoretically who would be the best opponent for him in the ring. Craig jokes that Big Ramy would be the ultimate opponent. Both of them are sponsored by Enhanced Labs. Both of them are mass monsters. Who would win? Sadly, it will simply be left to the imagination.
Craig Golias’ Bodyguard Stories
Craig Golias also talks about his time as a bodyguard before he was full fledged into bodybuilding. He tells one of the craziest stories from his time as a bodyguard. He was guarding a drug addict who ultimately tried to stiff paying Craig. This caused Craig to loose his patience and wrap his hands around the man’s throat. He was in a popular spot in Las Vegas.
Ultimately, his friends convinced him that it wasn’t worth going to jail over. So he let the man go. Craig claims that he did ultimately follow up with the drug addict and get his fair pay for bodyguarding. Craig Golias’ lesson for others? Make sure to always get paid up front and don’t work with drug addicts.

Bodybuilding Is The Hardest Sport In The World… And Social Media Ruined It
Craig Golias also talks with Vlad Yudin about his years as a competitive bodybuilder. He ultimately stepped down because he didn’t enjoy the back and forth of bulking and then shredding. He also claims that bodybuilding is the hardest sport of them all – above all other major pro sports. He thinks the focus and dedication to transform your body to champion status requires more work than any other sport.
Craig Golias also believes that social media has completely ruined the sport of bodybuilding. He admits that he favors from this shift. Since he no longer competes – he uses social media to promote his training, his clothes, and his overall brand. But Craig believes that serious pro bodybuilders get the short end of the stick.
Specifically, he thinks that influencers get more money than pro bodybuilders do from the sport. Some pro bodybuilders find a way to balance using social media alongside competing – but it’s rare. Craig believe that the prestige and the higher paying sponsorships, magazine covers, etc don’t come through if you are simply a champion level bodybuilder. It now requires a strong social media presence as well. That’s more work. It’s more than competitors needed to do in the past.

Victor Martinez: Logan Paul Isn’t Hurting Boxing, Lack Of Prime Athletes Is

Victor Martinez: Logan Paul Isn’t Hurting Boxing, Lack Of Prime Athletes Is

Victor Martinez reacts to the upcoming boxing match of Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather.
Victor Martinez may be a bodybuilder first and foremost but he’s also an avid fan of pro boxing. Admittedly, boxing has fallen quite a bit in popularity from its heyday in decades past. There is one exception – spectacle super fights that have brought in record amounts of revenue. The latest spectacle fight in boxing is Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather. But is the spectacle worth it? Or simply diminishing the respect of boxing even further to a sideshow attraction? In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Victor Martinez shares his thoughts on boxing super fights, Logan Paul, and the current state of boxing.
Logan Paul is a YouTuber with a massive following and a strong personality. This leads to him being a lover him or hate him kind of influencer. So of course, when he started dipping his toes in to boxing – it led to mixed reactions. Now he’s set to face off against Floyd Mayweather in a super fight expected to bring in record amounts of profits. But is allowing YouTubers special exhibition matches damaging to the reputation of the sport?

We asked this very question to Victor Martinez. A pro bodybuilder who is also a deeply passionate boxing fan. How does he feel about Logan Paul’s entrance into the world of boxing? Victor admits that the fight is pure spectacle. It’s for money and it will succeed in bringing in tons of cash. That being said, Victor doesn’t see this as primarily a bad thing.
If anything, Logan Paul is bringing more attention to boxing at a time when it needs it most. UFC and MMA as a whole has taken a lot of boxing audience into a new direction. MMA is now arguably a more popular sport than boxing. It’s brining in fight fans and fight talent and away from boxing. The Logan Paul might not be a respectable title fight – but it’s still bringing young new energy into a sport that has diminished slowly over the years.

In fact, Victor Martinez does not see Logan Paul or any social media influencer to be the actual problem for boxing. It’s simply a reaction to a deeper problem with the sport. According to Victor, the main problem with boxing is a lack of premiere talent – especially in male boxing. There is no Muhammad Ali or George Foreman. Even the last legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has been retired and only comes out for special fights.

Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather is a direct reaction to the fact that current title holders don’t hold the same kind of popularity as legendary boxers in the past. Simply put, these super fights are the only way for boxing to get attention. Victor Martinez has no solution to fixing this problem other than hoping that more notable talent comes into the sport in the coming years.
This brings Victor Martinez to a bigger point regarding social media, influencers, and their place in professional sports. Bodybuilding faced a similar intersection of social media and competition over the past 10 years. You now have bodybuilding influencers who hold more attention than actual champion athletes. Is this bad? Victor says no.
In fact, Victor Martinez thinks that those who are angry about social media influencers taking the spotlight away need to start adapting to the new world. The world will not change back to what it used to be. Bodybuilders, or any athletes, that cannot adapt to social media will eventually be left behind (with rare exception). If they don’t want to adapt, that’s fine. But they also shouldn’t be angry about the new influencers gaining attention. If you don’t like it adapt.

Mike O’Hearn: People Want To See Logan Paul Get His Ass Kicked… And He Knows It

Mike O’Hearn: People Want To See Logan Paul Get His Ass Kicked… And He Knows It

Mike O’Hearn Answers: Is Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather bad for the sport of boxing?
With the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match right around the corner, the controversial influencer has been making headlines again after an eventful press conference for the bout. Logan Paul as a public figure has been a hotly debated topic for years now. Is his success bad for the future of entertainment? And now more specifically, is his latest fight against Mayweather bad for the future of boxing? In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Mike O’Hearn weighs in on whether or not Logan Paul is a good or bad change for boxing.
The Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match is not the first of it’s kind. Not only has Paul been doing super exhibition PPV matches in the past, but there was also the UFC/boxing crossover of Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather. These “super fights” fall outside the traditional norms of professional boxing. However, they also bring in massive amounts of interest and money. They are arguably more financially successful than real title matches in the sport.

Of course, popularity does not always equal quality. This is the main controversy behind Logan Paul’s entire career. Whether it’s boxing, YouTube, or any other place he appears – Logan Paul brings in massive views and massive money. But does it come at a cost? Does it diminish the credibility and quality of entertainment and sports?
We asked this question during our latest interview with Mike O’Hearn. Mike O’Hearn is a bodybuilder and public figure who’s familiar with controversy. He’s a bodybuilder who has consistently claimed to be all-natural. But the general bodybuilding public don’t believe he’s telling the truth due to his incredible physique. Not only that but O’Hearn is also a man who is familiar with building his own brand and personality beyond just being a bodybuilder.

Check out our GI Exclusive segment with Mike O’Hearn above!
So what does he think of Logan Paul? His personality, love him or hate him, brings in attention. That attention creates massively attended events. That brings in money – which in turn can help bolster whatever industry Paul is engaging with. His latest, a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather – is set to potentially break records in terms of sales.

Mike O’Hearn sees no problem in Logan Paul’s tactics. While O’Hearn personally does not find Paul entertaining, he also sees the numbers. Most people enjoy watching Paul, either to “hate watch” him or because they are legitimate fans. Either way, Logan Paul is aware of this fact. He’s taking advantage of it. O’Hearn sees no problem in that.
Ultimately the success of Logan Paul relies 100% on his fans continuing to take an interest. He’s not forcing fans to enjoy his boxing crossover events. In that sense, it’s less Logan Paul that is the problem and more the audience. They decide what interests them. Right now, Logan Paul is the thing they want.
Mike O’Hearn goes on to mention that anything you can do to trigger society will always get attention. If you can monetize that attention, then you’re finding success in a tactic that always works.

Mike O’Hearn even relates Logan Paul, his success, and his controversy to modern bodybuilding.
“I said this to some old time bodybuilders that don’t have a big following on social media,” Mike O’Hearn states in our interview. He goes on:
“They’re like, ‘I won the titles, I won all of this, and I don’t get the respect I deserve.’ And it’s like – it’s the world that changes. You have to keep adapting. You have to keep moving with it. It’s the personality. Bruce Lee and Arnold [Schwarzenegger] made it because of their personality. If they were boring cardboard they wouldn’t have made it.”
You can see Mike O’Hearn break down his thoughts on Logan Paul and viral personalities in sports above. Check it out in our latest GI Exclusive interview segment!
