Hunter Labrada & Andrew Jacked Share Ripped Updates Weeks Before 2023 Texas Pro Showdown

Hunter Labrada & Andrew Jacked Share Ripped Updates Weeks Before 2023 Texas Pro Showdown

The pressure is on Men’s Open Pros Hunter Labrada and Chinedu Andrew ‘Jacked’ Obiekea as they aim to secure their passage to this year’s Olympia competition. In a pair of Instagram posts, Labrada and Jacked teased their physiques weeks before stepping back on stage.
Hunter is the son of bodybuilding veteran and perennial Olympia contender Lee Labrada. Having followed in his father’s footsteps, it didn’t take long for Labrada to find his calling inside the gym and on stage. Fans took notice of Labrada’s potential in 2021 when he won the Chicago Pro title and placed fourth at the annual Olympia.
Labrada was considered a frontrunner heading into 2022 Olympia in light of his impressive showing. Instead of laboring through a busy season, Labrada had the luxury of time, which allowed him to cultivate mass and build extra muscle. However, when it was time to perform on the sport’s biggest stage, Labrada encountered problems with the prep/peak. He finished seventh, though he promised to return better than ever.
Hunter Labrada plans to test himself at two shows: the 2023 Tampa Pro and the Texas Pro. In May, Labrada reiterated his commitment to the sport and underlined that he’s still ‘one of the best’ with plans to ‘prove it’ later this year.

Andrew Jacked meanwhile, jumped into the upper echelon of the division last year with a historic rookie season. With symmetry, proportions, and flexibility like his former mentor Flex Wheeler, Andrew’s stage presentation and aesthetics made him a dangerous opponent for anyone.
In 2022, he secured his IFBB Pro card at the 2022 Arnold Classic Amateur before winning the Texas Pro and Arnold Classic UK consecutively. In his debut on the Olympia stage, Jacked trailed one spot behind Hunter in eighth place. Both men are on the hunt for Olympia invites and are likely to face each other at the upcoming 2023 Texas Pro.
Hunter Labrada Checks In w/ Physique Update: “Best I’ve Ever Been With 16 Days to Go”
Labrada looked huge in his latest physique update under three weeks from performing at the 2023 Tampa Pro.

“Best I’ve ever been with 16 days to go?? One last push and then it’s time to freshen up and do the damn thing! Excited is an understatement??” Hunter Labrada wrote.

“The Goal Is To Beat My Previous Self” Andrew Jacked Teases Physique Weeks from 2023 Texas Pro
Jacked is also looking monstrous in his latest progress video, which you can find below:

“I’m not in Competition with Anybody but Against the Person I See in The Mirror. The Goal is to always beat my previous self!@psychofitness21 @therealtechnicianThe Hoodie is Still On. Few Weeks left to Unveil the upgraded MonaLisa.
Yesszzziirrr !!!” Andrew Jacked shared.

Aside from physique updates, Andrew has shared numerous training sessions in the lead-up to his next competition. The last time fans saw him in action, Jacked showcased a back-density workout that he’s been using to give himself the illusion of a more 3D physique on stage.
Whether it’s nutrition or coaching changes, Andrew is willing to take the necessary steps to evolve as an athlete. Last year, he forged a new partnership with trainers Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis and Chris Aceto. With another season to build, Jacked is hopeful about his Olympia chances down the road.
As for Hunter Labrada, he’s also taken a calculated approach to his season. In addition to physique updates, Labrada has shared gut health hacks, guest posing appearances, training sessions, and started incorporating vacuum poses to help him exercise more control over his midsection.

Should Labrada and Jacked succeed in their respective missions, they will have the opportunity to face off against the reigning Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan, who took the crown from the former two-time champ Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay in a shocking upset last year.

Dana Linn Bailey Shares Physique Update at 40 Years Old, Post-Workout Shake + Lunch

Dana Linn Bailey Shares Physique Update at 40 Years Old, Post-Workout Shake + Lunch

Women’s Physique trailblazer Dana Linn Bailey continues to make strides toward her latest body transformation. In a YouTube video, Bailey shared a physique update at 40 years old and offered fans a look into her post-workout shake and lunch.

“We’re doing a physique update because we just ended week three. We’re into week four of my challenge. I can’t say I’m happy. I’m not this happy. I’ve probably gained muscle if anything, so we’re going to do a little physique update,” DLB shared.

Within three years of starting her professional career, DLB became the inaugural Women’s Physique Olympia champion. She proved herself on the sport’s biggest stage with incredibly defined shoulders, a slim waist, and an equally balanced lower body.
Dana’s last Olympia show saw her take runner-up to Juliana Malacarne. And while she’s accepted life in retirement, she’s been tempted to come back and compete ever since. In a Cutler Cast Podcast, Dana opened up about her health issues and natural status. At the time, she made it clear to fans that she would undergo drug tests weekly if she in fact announced her comeback.
In June, Dana Linn Bailey decided to transform her physique, a challenge she has titled ‘Summer Shredded 4.0.’ DLB clarified that her challenge isn’t just a solution for weight loss but will also help with building muscle. This is her fourth workout challenge of this series.
Dana Linn Bailey Gives ‘Summer Shredded’ Physique Update at 40: “My Training Has Been Awesome”
Bailey explained that she’s had family in town so her weight loss isn’t where she’d like it to be. However, she plans to change that in the coming weeks.
“Honestly, I probably – my training has been awesome, haven’t missed a day of training but I have definitely missed cardio. We’ve had family in town for the last 10 days, we have you guys here and my day. Amazing.
So, I probably gained muscle, gained some, I didn’t lose any weight, let’s just say that. So, for the next five weeks, I’m going to focus, once these guys get out of here and my family leaves, I’m going to focus heavily on adding my cardio back in because I’ve only been doing it like once a week.”
Dana Linn Bailey/YouTube

Post-workout Shake
Bailey moved on to a post-workout shake to fulfill her protein requirements.
“Just finished up shoulder day so, we’re actually training after this, you just won’t see this until a later day. Getting my protein in. I did about 8-10 ounces of water. One scoop of Vanilla Isotope from REDCON1,” Dana said. “I did a heaping tablespoon of the Nuts ‘n More cookie dough. My other favorite from them is Oreo, so good.”
“There’s only one gram of fat per two tablespoons. So, you get the taste of peanut butter without all the fat so I love it. You can get PB2, Nuts ‘n More happens to be the best. They have awesome flavors. And I also added a half a banana for some carbohydrates, gains,” said Bailey.
Lunch
For lunch, Bailey had a bodybuilding staple: chicken and rice, but she jazzed it up with Japanese Barbecue Sauce.
“For lunch we have boring, not boring, it’s not boring at all, I actually grilled my chicken this time, it tastes amazing. Just some chicken and rice, and you’re like ‘What’s all that stuff on it?’ This [Japanese barbecue sauce], you might have seen this from another video, their hot and spicy happens to be fantastic.”
Despite stepping away from the sport, Dana’s commitment to working out is a top priority. She pushes herself through workouts with anyone and that includes bodybuilding royalty. Last July, Bailey and four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler teamed up for a chest and triceps training session.
Months later, Dana Linn Bailey was led through an FST-7 workout by bodybuilding coach Hany Rambod. During the routine, Rambod emphasized the importance of controlling the eccentric motions in each repetition. Rambod is responsible for coaching a number of top-tier athletes, such as Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, and Andrei Deiu.
Body transformations have become an immensely popular trend in fitness as of late. Cutler is currently in the middle of what he’s calling a ‘Fit-for-50’ challenge. He plans to get in the best shape possible since retiring 10 years ago. From training thoughts to workouts and nutrition, Cutler has been transparent with fans about his new goal.
Similar to Dana Linn Bailey, former seven-time 212 Olympia Flex Lewis is taking on a fitness challenge at 40 years old. He plans to collaborate with the best athletes from different sports. Flex shared that one of his biggest areas of focus will be cardiovascular health. Lewis’ first multi-sport workout video just went live, as he pushed the reigning World’s Strongest Man Mitchell Hooper through a brutal shoulders training session.
DLB’s physique is a testament to the time and effort she puts into healthy living and working out. Her plan for the future is to incorporate more cardio now that her schedule will allow for it.

Hidetada “Hide” Yamagishi, 50, Shows Off Ripped Physique 6 Weeks from 2023 Masters Olympia

Hidetada “Hide” Yamagishi, 50, Shows Off Ripped Physique 6 Weeks from 2023 Masters Olympia

Hidetada Yamagishi is hell-bent on delivering an Olympia title to his home country of Japan. In a recent Instagram post, “Hide” revealed a ripped physique update less than two months from his anticipated return to the 2023 Masters Olympia show, Aug. 25-27, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
During the 2000s, Yamagishi was a trailblazer in the IFBB Pro League, having made a name for himself in not one but two divisions during his prime. While building a career in the Open and 212 Bodybuilding, his blend of conditioning, fullness, and balance propelled him to some of the sport’s biggest stages, like the Mr. Olympia.
Despite his inability to win an Olympia title, Yamagishi pushed some of the best. That includes seven-time 212 Olympia kingpin Flex Lewis. In 2015, Hidetada took third to fellow standout Jose Raymond and Lewis at the Mr. Olympia show, which serves as the highest placing of his career. Some of Yamagishi’s best career victories include the 2010 Europa Show of Champions, the 2014 Tampa Pro, the 2016 Arnold Classic 212, and the 2019 Europa Dallas.
Yamagishi is no stranger to the spotlight. He’s graced the pages of various magazines, such as Weekly Playboy, Tarzan, and Ironman Japan, where he showcased his muscular build. Hidetada has also appeared in workout demonstration videos and has taken part in Japanese-aired TV shows.

Last year, Yamagishi decided to step away from the sport. During his hiatus, he built a successful YouTube channel. In Yamagishi’s opinion, the stars aligned for his comeback this year. The 2023 Masters Olympia contest announced its return following an 11-year absence. And coincidentally, Yamagishi just turned 50 years old. With that in mind, Yamagishi is more motivated than ever to finally nail down a coveted Olympia title.

“6 weeks out @mastersolympiaofficial” Hide Yamagishi shared.

Initially, fans had hoped to see former four-time Mr. Olympia icon Jay Cutler compete at Masters Olympia. Over the course of several months, Jay has taken steady measures to transform his physique. While he is aiming to get in the best shape of his life since 2013, he stressed that he had no desire to return to a competition stage.
Longevity in bodybuilding has become a major talking point, and fans take notice when they see athletes who have succeeded in preserving their bodies. One such talent is Golden Era’s Tom Platz. He recently wowed fans online with a look at his ripped quad development at 68 years old.
Other veterans of the sport have done a stellar job of staying in great condition as well, like Lee Labrada. Labrada routinely shares training advice, strategies, and tips for longevity. He believes bodybuilding is the closest thing athletes have to a ‘fountain of youth.’ To this day, fans can’t believe Lee Labrada’s youthful appearance at 63.

Tom Platz, 68, Shows Off Jaw-Dropping Ripped Quads in Latest Update

Tom Platz, 68, Shows Off Jaw-Dropping Ripped Quads in Latest Update

“The Quadfather” Tom Platz still maintains remarkable leg development at 68 years old. In an Instagram post, Platz showed off his quad definition to celebrate his recent birthday.
Platz was known for his powerful and sculpted legs as a Pro during his career. He built a following for himself in the AAU circuit. At that time, Platz began to showcase unique and diverse training methods, which inspired countless athletes after him. He honed his craft inside the famous Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California.
Some notable athletes have taken valuable lessons from Platz’s mentorship. Even six-time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates. Platz remembers teaching Yates about his training and diet during a seminar decades ago and he was happy to see ‘The Shadow’ take his teachings to heart.
In addition to his intense training techniques, Platz proved successful on stage, having claimed the Mr. Universe crown in 1980. Throughout an active tenure, Platz shared the stage with heavy hitters of past eras such as seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger and eight-time winner, Lee Haney.

A trailblazer of advanced leg training, Platz proved himself in and out of competitions. His popularity only grew after taking part in a squat contest against Fred Hatfield in the 90s, but he came up short. He later got revenge at the 1992 ‘The Great American Squat Off’ where he and Hatfield found success.
During the event in Essen Germany, Platz achieved a major feat when he squatted 525 pounds for 23 reps. He did this in a direct showdown with Hatfield, who managed 11 reps with the same weight. However, Platz’s legendary squat record was broken in May by the reigning World’s Strongest Man, Mitchell Hooper. Hooper completed 24 reps of 525 pounds.

People online were blown away by Tom Platz’s legs.
Instagram @tomplatz

Fans respect Tom for his transparent nature regarding all aspects of the sport, including performance-enhancing drug use. Having competed in the Golden Era, Platz said he took the ‘very minimum’ and utilized a two-compound cycle, which consisted of Winstrol and Deca-Durabolin. While Platz admits he could get shredded without the use of anabolics, he emphasized that they were necessary for athletes attempting to achieve a ‘saran wrap look’ in his heyday.
Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has also come out and talked about his Mr. Olympia-winning cycle. The 75-year-old icon stressed that he only used two compounds as well, which he said were testosterone and Dianabol.
According to other bodybuilding veterans, the steroid dosages have changed drastically since their last time on stage. Rich Gaspari who competed mostly in the 1990s, said athletes depend on drugs more than hardcore training nowadays. Meanwhile, Lee Haney has mentioned that Open competitors are ’60 pounds overweight’ because they’re consuming too much food.
This wasn’t Tom’s first quad update. He’s taken considerable measures to maintain muscularity and fullness in his lower body despite getting older. In April, he gave fans a sneak peek at his ‘work in progress.’

While the sport has certainly undergone changes since Platz’s era, he still treats his training sessions the same. His latest update serves as motivation for fans given that leg training is widely considered to be one of the most taxing forms of exercise.

Jay Cutler Unveils Impressive Physique Update Just 7 Weeks from Fit-for-50 Transformation Goal

Jay Cutler Unveils Impressive Physique Update Just 7 Weeks from Fit-for-50 Transformation Goal

Jay Cutler‘s physique continues to transform in front of our eyes. In a recent YouTube video, Cutler shared an impressive posing session, a chest and calf workout, and discussed his physique goals in 2023.

“I’ve been starting with calves for years. I always start training when I do chest day with calves. And the reason being I always feel like if you prioritize the weaker body parts, you’ll get better results,” Cutler explained.

Cutler’s bodybuilding career was defined by grit, hard work, and determination. He placed runner-up to Ronnie Coleman four times before exacting revenge against ‘The King’ in 2006. In addition to sharing the stage with countless legends, Cutler is the only Open Mr. Olympia to ever win back a title he lost, which he accomplished in 2009 when he etched his name in the history books with an iconic quad stomp pose.
As a four-time Mr. Olympia and three-time Arnold Classic titleholder, Cutler remains passionate about bodybuilding even in retirement. His last show came in 2013 where he placed sixth at Mr. Olympia. Having stepped away, he focuses on training, YouTube collaborations, and hosting his popular podcast Cutler Cast.

Cutler announced that he would undergo a physique transformation late last year. He emphasized that he was aiming to get in the best shape of his life since 2013. Dubbed the ‘Fit-for-50’ challenge, Cutler has documented his journey to the delight of fans. He’s shown physique updates, diet plans, and training sessions en route to the transformation.
Fans hoped he would hop on a competition stage, but Cutler said he’s taking on the fitness challenge to show the world what is possible at 50 years old. And with Jay’s birthday coming in August, the former champ is ramping up his efforts. He’s also has been teasing a possible guest posing appearance at the 2023 Masters Olympia taking place in Romania.
Jay Cutler’s Chest Workout List w/Calf Warmup

Standing Calf Raise – 4 sets 12 reps
Calf Raise On Leg Press Machine – 4 sets 12 reps
Seated Calf Raise – 4 sets 12 reps
Chest press Machine – 6-7 12 sets 12 reps
Vertical Press Machine – 3-4 sets pyramiding the weight up
Dumbbell Bench Press – 1 set (90 lbs) 12 reps
Cable Fly Machine – 2 sets

After he finished the workout, Jay Cutler reflected on his fitness goals for the rest of the year. He also revealed he’s weighing 245 pounds.
“Alright, that wraps up chest and calves. We are just over seven weeks out right now and I’m feeling good. Like I said, I had a little mishap not this past week but the week before where I didn’t get a lot of my meals in and I think the meals, like I mentioned, are the most important thing. The body weight is not where I want it to be, I want to be 250. I’m about 245 now. The goal now after this weekend is still continue to get a little leaner and a little fuller at the same time.”
“I did my cardio this morning, I did 40 minutes, I added two sessions of cardio in, I’m doing at least 30 minutes after – in the evening. So I do first thing in the morning and evening, and every day is a little different. I try to switch it up.
What I’m doing different from competing for Olympia titles or Arnold Classics or whatever else, I’m actually using an instinctive approach. Remember: I’m not trying to be super ripped I’m just trying to be lean and fuller. If I feel like I’m getting flat, I’ll allow myself to eat and back down off the cardio and get a little fuller because I have a goal for August 3, and that’s the end goal to really kind of showcase the physique. But it’s not going to be finished then, I’m going to keep going. So by the time everybody sees me at Olympia in November I’ll probably still be in the phase of keeping this size and who knows what the goal will be,” Cutler said.
Then, the former Mr. Olympia showed off some bodybuilding poses in a separate video. Cutler’s progress is remarkable as he looks bigger, fuller, and more detailed while holding less body fat. Earlier this year, he targeted a body fat goal of 6-8%. It’s evident Cutler’s leg development is still a top priority as well.

Cutler has been open with fans about the training techniques he’s using to revamp his physique. The last time he showed off a training session, he demonstrated how to build 20-inch arms with a grueling workout. Cutler prefers starting with the triceps before biceps on arm days.
Anyone who has been following’s Cutler’s ‘fit-for-50’ physique transformation has probably noticed changes to his body. In one of his previous updates, the 49-year-old revealed that he had gained 15 pounds since starting the challenge.
Transformations are some of the most compelling stories in the fitness industry. While he has no plans of stepping on stage, Cutler’s journey has served as a great inspiration to fans and followers.

69-yo Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Goes Viral with Jacked Shirtless Workout Update at Gold’s Gym

Environmental lawyer and politician Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. is the nephew of former US president John F. Kennedy. After announcing his plans to earn the Democratic nomination for the presidency, his popularity skyrocketed. In a recent video post on Twitter, RFK Jr. went viral for his jacked physique while performing pushups shirtless at the iconic Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, CA.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was admitted to the New York Bar in 1985 after he got promoted to senior attorney at Riverkeeper. He specializes in environmental law and has been a part of several high-profile cases. He promotes environmental justice and protection through lobbying and public activism.
Kennedy joined forces with environmental lawyer Kevin Madonna to found a law firm, called Kennedy & Madonna, LLP, for helping plaintiffs against polluters in 2005. The firm rose to prominence for litigating on behalf of the Ramapough Mountain Indian Tribe against the Ford Motor Company, which was featured in the HBO documentary Mann v. Ford in 2010.
Having worked together on the case against SoCalGas company after the Aliso Canyon gas leak, RFK Jr. teamed up with Morgan & Morgan law firm in 2016. The group sued Monsanto on behalf of plaintiffs affected by exposure to the company’s glyphosate-based herbicide called Roundup. They followed up with a class action lawsuit against Monsanto and another against Columbia Gas of Massachusetts in Sep. 2018.
Over the last two years, Kennedy became notorious for his contrarian views. He emerged as a leading force against public health regulation policies that arose after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s criticized vaccine mandates and called for a reform in the pharmaceutical industry.
RFK Jr. hinted at a potential run for president in 2024 three months ago. He revealed his wife was no longer against the idea and filed his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination a month later. His appearance on the massively popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast sparked a heated debate about the effectiveness of COVID vaccines. Pediatrician Peter Hotez, who designed a COVID-19 vaccine, dismissed Kennedy’s views as dangerous. Then, Kennedy’s social media presence expanded after he was seen looking jacked while performing bench presses shirtless in the sun.

Shaun Clarida Shows Off Insane 206-Lb Physique Update 20 Weeks From 2023 Mr. Olympia

Shaun Clarida Shows Off Insane 206-Lb Physique Update 20 Weeks From 2023 Mr. Olympia

Shaun Clarida has officially begun preparations for his upcoming title defense in November. The reigning two-time 212 Olympia champ took to Instagram and showcased an impressive physique update where he tipped the scales at 206 pounds.
While he doesn’t enjoy the height of some of his peers, Clarida makes up for it with density, conditioning, and pure grit. He’s been referred to as a ‘Mini Ronnie Coleman,’ who is known for throwing around heavy weight for high reps.
With cartoonish proportions and three-dimensional muscle mass, Shaun Clarida quickly emerged as a preeminent threat in the 212 Bodybuilding class. After several years of failing to win the coveted Olympia title, Clarida reached the pinnacle of his career in 2020 when he ousted Kamal Elgargni for gold in a memorable showdown.

In 2021, he brought an improved physique but struggled against Derek Lunsford, a competitor held in high regard for his shape, aesthetics, and pronounced v-taper. In the end, Shaun took runner-up to Lunsford. Testing a new division, Clarida entered and won the 2021 Legion Sports Fest Pro, earning him the nickname ‘The Giant Killer.’
And while Derek Lunsford opted to compete in the Open at 2022 Mr. Olympia due to a special invite, Shaun stuck it out in the 212 class, aiming to win his title back. Clarida dominantly won his second 212 Olympia title last December. Instead of taking time to map out his next move, Clarida entered and finished fifth at the 2023 Arnold Classic.
Having led a busy schedule, Clarida is motivated to become a three-time champion later this year. He believes the birth of his daughter and a recent move to Texas will serve as huge boosts to his motivation on the horizon.
Shaun Clarida Shares ‘Starting Point’ for 2023 Mr. Olympia Prep, Shows Off 206-Lb Physique 20 Weeks Out
Clarida clarified that this photo was taken last week and served as his starting point for the 2023 Mr. Olympia prep.
At 206 pounds, Shaun appears full but is still holding on to a substantial amount of definition. Despite the off-season, his legs are impressively separated as well.

“?UPDATE?
This is my starting point 20 weeks out (taken last week) from the 2023 ⭕️lympia sitting at 206lbs.
Despite being one of the busiest years of my life/career between doing both the Olympia and the Arnold last season, the birth of my daughter and moving my family from New Jersey ➡️ Texas, it’s been one of the most productive. The new environment, having the fuel & motivation with Baby GK and always having a supporting cast of friends, family and sponsors have all kept me grounded and focused on the task and goal come November 3rd. ???
OFF TO THE RACES WE GO!” Shaun Clarida wrote.

Clarida has ambitious plans before he puts an end to his bodybuilding career. In March, he revealed he would like to break Flex Lewis‘ all-time 212 Olympia record of seven victories. During his appearance on Hany Rambod’s The Truth Podcast, Shaun elaborated on his future. He said his goal was to win multiple titles as a 212 athlete but still planned to occasionally test his mettle in the Open class.
In addition to their YouTube collaboration, Clarida and Rambod teamed up for an FST-7 chest workout. With hypertrophy as the primary objective, the training session was a success and highlighted how freaky Shaun looks when his physique is pumped up.
The 212 division is growing in popularity, and Clarida will have his hands full with contenders later this year. Breon Ansley, who gave Chris Bumstead trouble in the Classic Physique category, announced his switch to the 212 and said fans should expect another ’10 pounds of muscle mass’ when he hits the stage later this year.

With top contenders from last year and new blood like Ansley, fans are in store for an epic 212 showcase at the 2023 Olympia show. Clarida, who has flipped the switch for prep, plans to bring his best look to date in the near future.

Eddie Hall Shows Off Abs at 385 Lbs in Latest Physique Update: ‘The Cut Starts in 8 Weeks’

Eddie Hall Shows Off Abs at 385 Lbs in Latest Physique Update: ‘The Cut Starts in 8 Weeks’

Strongman legend Eddie Hall is determined to make a statement in his 2024 bid as a bodybuilder. In a recent Instagram post, Hall shared a cement-cracking 385-pound physique update with visible abs and revealed he will start to cut weight in eight weeks.
Eddie Hall is a man of many talents. He held the heaviest deadlift world record before his rival Hafthor Bjornsson took the honor from him in 2020. Looking to settle their differences, Hall and Bjornsson agreed to a boxing match in 2022. It was a strange but exciting affair that saw Bjornsson get his hand raised via unanimous decision.
Hall, who is known for his eccentric personality and competitive nature, decided to try out bodybuilding. Following the performances of four-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead and former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay at 2022 Mr. Olympia, Hall was inspired to compete.

In preparation for his big debut, Hall has taken part in various training sessions and posing seminars. In May, the famed strongman joined professional posing coach Emma Heineman for a routine. And judging by some of his updates, Hall plans to bring a beastly package to the Classic Physique division soon.
Eddie Hall Tipping Scales at 385 Lbs, Says ‘Cut’ Starts in 8 Weeks: Fans React
The strongman-turned-bodybuilder Hall revealed he was weighing 385 pounds and shared that he will start cutting weight in two months.
“The Cut starts in 8wks⏰ 385lbs@theposingpro ?” Eddie Hall shared.

Fans were immediately taken aback by Eddie’s update, especially considering that he has visible abs at almost 400 pounds.
@eddiehallwsm via Instagram

Surprisingly, Eddie Hall isn’t the only famous strongman to give bodybuilding a try. Larry Wheels will also test the waters in the Classic Physique division. Despite his inexperience in the new sport, Larry’s coach mentioned that he believes Wheels can be competitive against the world’s best using only testosterone replacement therapy.
Eddie Hall has taken calculated measures before stepping on a bodybuilding stage. Earlier this year, he teamed up with seven-time 212 Olympia Flex Lewis for a rare bodybuilding versus strongman collaboration. They trained arms together and shared respective physique updates afterward.

Aside from bodybuilding ventures, Eddie Hall is known for his massively successful YouTube channel and social media presence. He reacts to painful gym fails, and teams up with other fitness influencers. One of the last times fans saw ‘The Beast’ in action, Jesse James West pranked him by pulling a ton of fake weights.

While it certainly looks like an uphill climb for Eddie Hall as far as bodybuilding goes, a competitor of his stature and determination should never be counted out or underestimated. Fans will have a better idea of his targeted physique in eight weeks when he begins cutting weight.

Larry Wheels Smokes 150-Lb Incline Dumbbell Bench Press for 25 Reps, Shares Ripped Update

Larry Wheels continues to make strides inside the gym ahead of his anticipated bodybuilding debut in the Classic Physique division. In a recent Instagram post, Wheels demolished 25 reps of 150-pound incline dumbbell bench press and then revealed an impressive physique update.
At just 28 years old, Larry Wheels’ strength and athletic abilities have seen him test the waters of different sports such as strongman, powerlifting, arm wrestling, and bodybuilding. And while he set his sights on a strongman return last year, Larry was forced to remove his name from the 2022 Middle East’s Strongest Man roster due to a back injury.
Last August, Wheels made a bold choice: he quit all performance-enhancing drugs and switched to only testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). He’s been honest with fans about the transition, having kept a record of his mental health, physical health, strength, and endurance while relying on TRT alone. Despite giving up a handful of compounds, Larry says his strength and moods haven’t fluctuated much since making the change.
Larry admits he was headed down a dark path nearly a decade ago when he dabbled in recreational drugs. He was introduced to TRT at 17 years old and said it saved him from experimenting further with elicit substances. Though, Wheels understands that PEDs can have a negative impact on the body as well. He showed off a photo comparison of himself using TRT versus the peak of his steroid use. The results left Wheels surprised at how the compounds seemingly aged his face.

In a change of pace, Wheels decided to dedicate his workout efforts solely to bodybuilding. Back in March, the popular influencer announced his plan to compete on stage. According to Wheels, he currently has enough size but will need to cut around 20 pounds to make the limit for Classic Physique. Looking ahead, Wheels believes he has what it takes to be competitive with some of the top names in the category.

“150×25!Changing the rep from 1-5 reps to now 8-25 has really helped my develop fullness in my chest. I stopped doing flat bench to create a better balance. I only do flat once in a blue moon nowRed and black wraps from @teampersonalrecord” Larry Wheels wrote.

In a special interview on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk Podcast, Wheels discussed potentially competing against the four-time Classic Physique Olympia king Chris Bumstead. While Larry tried out the Open class years ago in 2018, he mentioned that he was simply too small for the division. He doesn’t believe his size will hold him back in Classic Physique, however. And Larry’s coach is a believer. He told Wheels that he’d be competitive with top names in the category using only TRT recently.
Considering his steady physique updates and training sessions, Larry is determined to leave his mark on another sport. Wheels isn’t the only strongman veteran amid a physique transformation either. Eddie Hall, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, has also announced his foray into the sport.
With a pair of strongmen eying the Classic Physique division, perhaps this is the start of a new trend. Regardless of his future ambitions, fans are happy to see Larry Wheels looking youthful, healthy, and energetic.

Michal Krizo & Hunter Labrada Share Shredded Updates Before Their Next 2023 Contests

Michal Krizo & Hunter Labrada Share Shredded Updates Before Their Next 2023 Contests

Bodybuilders Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek and Hunter Labrada are two of the hottest names in the Men’s Open division. In a pair of Instagram posts, Krizo and Labrada updated fans with shredded physique updates as they aim to earn their 2023 Mr. Olympia qualifications.
After switching from the IFBB Elite Pro League to the NPC, it didn’t take long for Krizo’s name to reach headlines. His spectacular upper body, massive arms, and narrow waist made him an instant threat. Veterans of the sport, such as Jay Cutler and Milos Sarcev took notice of his potential as well.
Krizo participated in a historically busy season last year. He earned his IFBB pro card at the 2022 Amateur Olympia Italy contest. Instead of taking time to map out his next move, he returned to the EVLS Prague Pro, where he again, took first place. This victory secured his invitation to Mr. Olympia, which he took full advantage of with a 12th-place debut.

Labrada on the other hand, is on a path to redemption. He turned in a seventh-place showing at the last Mr. Olympia show. He admits problems with the prep and peak prevented him from a higher finish. Despite the setback, Labrada has taken considerable action to revamp his physique. Most notably, he’s incorporated more whole foods and started practicing vacuum poses for better abdominal control.
Additionally, Labrada showcases many of his training sessions and has brought back deadlifts into his contest prep. Labrada has taken various measures in the kitchen to bring a better physique like the green smoothie he drinks regularly for gut health.
Michal Krizo Shows Off Improved Back in Freaky Physique Update 2 Days from 2023 Empro Classic Pro
Aiming to earn his Olympia invite this weekend, Krizo shared some of his latest progress photos.

Hunter Labrada Under 270 Lbs in Latest Update Before 2023 Tampa Pro
Labrada said he is proud of the progress he’s made to his midsection and is aiming to be ready for his next contest early.

“Had enough people tell me to post it so here we are! This mornings fasted look, and the second morning I’ve been under 270 pounds out of bed??–Really proud of the work I was able to do with my midsection this offseason, and really leaning into everything I can this prep in an effort to be truly ready, early.–This is a big year for me, and I promise the best has yet to come” Labrada shared.

This is far from Labrada’s first update to fans. A little over a week ago, the high-profile Men’s Open pro showed off some of the major gains he’s made since his last competition. Fans were impressed by his improved midsection and Labrada said he plans to only improve further before competing in Florida, and then in Texas, where he will meet the defending champion, 2022 Texas Pro winner Andrew Jacked.
Conversely, fans are also excited to see Krizo back on the Mr. Olympia stage. He managed to perform exceptionally well last year and did so under the stress of a busy season. In 2022, he earned his Olympia qualification and competed at the biggest show of the year just over a month later. Should he claim the victory in Spain this weekend, Krizo will have the luxury of time for training and posing practice, which many believe will only help him excel further on stage.
In preparation for his 2023 debut contest, Krizo has also shared a number of training sessions with his followers. Whether it’s chest and shoulders or a leg day bulking session, Krizo is dedicated and it shows during each and every rep.
