Gain weight and then lose it like it isn't shit?

I know some of you think that putting on 20lbs is easy and you can do it whenever you want...

I'm trying to get to this point--any pointers?

Bro I will tell you. I was 135 two and a hlaf years ago. I am 217 now.

Eat a ton.....
Work out each muscle group only 1 time a week
Take a whey powder
Take a weight gainer powder(optional)
Eat complex carbs and veggies

People that have trouble gaining weight often find that just simply putting on mass.... fat or muscle is the way to get bigger. You can always cut off your fat later.
 
Oh yeah I know that I will have to add some fat, that's not the problem.

It just baffles me how some of you genetically gifted guys get up there like it ain't shit!
 
I generally stay around the same. 215-225. I feel much better at 225 though. My body just knows when to stop putting on weight though (for now) one day I want to be like my avatar though
 
I drop and add water real easy-I can swing 10 lbs or more in a couple days-But that is very misleading-To really grow and get big takes time and commitment.
 
Take in at least 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight to maintain. But take in 2 grams to gain that mass.

Up and down in weght what ever I want. Like the others said diet is the key along with sound training. Once you figure out how your body responds it gets easy to figure out what you need to do.
 
All of the above is very good info. I was 155 and now I'm 235, but it took a few years. Stick with it. There is no instant way. Commitment is the key.

I am the same way. If I dont put 100% in my diet I wont gain a lb. but as long as I do everything right I gain weight pretty good. but at 90
% i WONT gain shit.. I dont know my body is weird like that......

but if I dont watch I could go form 225 to 208 in 10-14 days.....that is just my body..
