Us Soldier In Prayers Please

Im not sure if you have seen it yet, its been all over the news, Batavia, Ohio resident Matt Maupin is being held captive by Iraqi fucks. I wrestled him back in high school, great kid and was one hell of an athlete. He is now being held ransom for the exchange of a desired 500 Iraqi POW's, there was a press release with a tape of about 15 Iraqi's holding him at gunpoint and him sitting in the corner of the room looking pretty sick to his stomach, I can't imagine what he is feeling right now. I just wanna ask you guys to keep him in your prayers as well as all of our boys out there trying to keep us free from crazy bastards like them.
This whole ordeal just really sends me through the roof, our senate is trying to ban substances that make american men complete fucking machines, while spending millions of dollars trying to stop the sale of substances when they need to be focusing on trying to get our sons, daughters, dads, and homeboys out of that sand pit.. rediculous absolutely rediculous. I am all for pres. bush but this shit is hitting to close to home....wheres my gun and plane ticket

But once again, christian, budhist or islam (not to popular at the time) doesn't matter keep our troops in mind when you pray to marry, jesus, ala, hale bop or who ever.

Thanx fellas

As this war continues it will touch more and more of our lives.

One of my best friends through out highschool and the start of college before we went to our different colleges was killed last spring when his Humvee flipped over in Iraq last year.

I wish they could all come home and be with their families and let the Iraqi people take control back over their own country. The longer this shit goes on the angrier I get esp when a town of fucken (Fallujah) morons think they will be able to take back their country and make it a dictatorship again. It's BS!!

I say kick in every fucken door in that town and shoot M.F'ers who have the weapons or put up resistance then drag them through the streets and hang them off that same bridge they did our people. GRRRRR....I'll stop now.

I completely agree with all that has been written in this thread. I am one of those born again Christian guys ( no not a judgemental bible thumper).

I hope it doesn't make me two faced but I don't think AAS is a bad thing, I'm on a cycle right now.

We pray weekly for all of those in Iraq and will continue to do so.

Those are a godless people living in the stone ages. I say we pull out let them kill each other and let God sort it out.

nicely put fellas, i just get so aggrivated when i see this happening to our troops, they are someones sons and daughters and i am feeling the pain now as well. These guys chose they're own path by joining up, but is this all even neccessary? If someone decides to push you , you push them back and if they slap you.....you kick the shit out of them. We as americans are too liberal....time to be primative, kill something and not feel bad about it, just like our enemies do. This isn't good for my blood pressure, roid rage is soon to have a new meaning.....man this pisses me off

Bignick... this place is a great place to look for prayers... trust me... the community has always been a great place to ask for assistance.. in every aspect...

the one thing that this place has always done is stick together. You got prayers coming from this member of the mc.com family bro...

Nick, Matt as well as all the other men and women fighting for our country are in my prayers and heart. This shouldn't have happened...period. I never agreed with bombing a place then going over and rebuilding it, makes no damn sense to me...never has. Our troops need to come home.

In my heart...

Bignick,

I assure you that your post has touched all of us who have been following the news. My prayers go out to him his family and friends...GOD SPEED!!!!

Whether or not you support the Whitehouse on this one, which I don't or on anything else for that matter, isn't the point. The fact is that we have thousands of men and women risking everything to protect us. It isn't a question of bravery. In fact it's probably harder to do what they do when you're not all that brave. But they are there inspite of all that and we need to do everything in our power to bring them back safely. There is an old Union song from the Civil war which goes something like this:

"We shall meet but we shall miss him
There will be one vacant chair
We shall linger to caress him
As we breathe our evening prayer"

Let's hope that we don't need to use it to often.

My prayers are there for him, his loved ones, and all of the other men and women in US service. As it's been said before, "It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it."

God Bless Them ..... and ..... God Bless America!
