My thought are ABS SUCK, but I have been hitting them eod for the last couple of weeks

If its just sit ups I say eod. If you add weights to your sit ups, every two days. See what works 4 you though. Good luck and I hope you can some day wash your clothes on your abbs like I do!:D

I work my abs every day. I used to work them eod but it wasn't enough. Ever since I started ed work outs my abs have gotten alot harder. More like a brick wall.

that is key, the resistance.

exactly. you can do a million crunches a day, but without resistance, you cannot build good abs. just like any other muscle group, you need resistance to build quality muscle.

Does eating a ton and going for one big "ab" instead of the six pack look count as working your abs?

absolutely honey:) except....

you don't call it a "six pack" you call it a "keg":D

I;m work'n 'em every other workout - throw them in at the end of my workout ... ends up being a good cooldown for me...

I do 3 sets of weighted abs... then 3 sets of non weighted...

Any opions out there on weighted Vs non weighted...

I don't have any abs I can see as of yet... but I'm on a roadmap for fat loss - and want those babies to look as good as can be when I kiss that fat goodbye

as i mentioned before (above) in this thread, you need resistance to build abs, just like any other muscle group. you can do a million crunches a day, it won't help. you need to build a base with resistance.

Thanks Queen D'

What's a good weight to use - reps? sets?

you will have to feel that out yourself. i crunch a 50-70lb dumbell 5 X 20 or;

i crunch the cables utilizing the rope and the stack. i have to get someone to push down on my calves or i get pulled right up.
