I am about to go off to college, and i plan on filling my freezer up with chicken breast. Well they have a grill by the pool, but we can not have a grill on the balcony of my apartment, so i was just going to cook some kind of chicken over the stove, and i didnt know of any kind of recipe for chicken on the stove, any ideas?

Another alternative would be to get a George Foreman grill. It takes about 10 minutes to cook a thawed peice of chicken and it runs off all the grease. Its great and well worth the money.

How much fat is in chicken that you are worried about getting every last bit of it out that you can?

BTW 20/20 or prime time live did a test with the forman grill and found it got rid of a MINIMAL amount of fat compared to cooking in a regular pan. I mean come on think of it logically how could it get rid of fat LOL

CROWLER

I dont give a hoot about how much fat runs off of the george foreman grill. I use only lean meats but it is a handy and fast little gadget.

CROWLER I saw a report on the grill as well..........it's basically a sales tactic and it worked.lol..........nontheless it does the job.

Now all I need is the ronco food dehydrator and the pocket fisherman

I wasn't saying how the grill gets rid of fat, I just kno some people don't like the grease. Chicken is very low in fat ne way.

the foreman is an excellent way to cook chicken fast and with little to no mess, i think that is what should have been said instead of everything else....
Cyphon, I was gonna get you the pocket fisherman to go with the rest of your gadgets for your birthday....LOL

George foreman grill is great. There are a a bunch of different ways to have chicken. It just depends on what you're in the mood for. I like cooking it in the oven or using the broiler myself.

if ur not worried about sodium. Look up Dales seasoning, everyone who's tried it says it is the best tasting stuff on meat theyve ever had. I use it all the time.

I don't know if anyone suggested this yet but get a George Foreman grill.

It knocks out the fat. But, there was a primetime piece done saying that it only gets rid of a minimal amount of fat, but "minimal" means some, right?

buy some seasonings for your chicken and fry it on the stove with some olive oil pam. then dip it in some spicy mustard. mmmm!

Check out Cooking with Missfit at Genxxl. She posts the recipes and makes me cook em. LOL! Lots of good recipes to keep you from getting sick of eating.

I usually bake it if grilling is not an option. As for seasoning, I used Mrs. Dash when getting ready for my last show. No sodium, no nothing, but it makes it taste a little better.

I just made some last night with some kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, a drizzle of olive oil, and some rosemary. Slapped it on the George Foreman grill and 8 mins later had some damn good chicken.

man that dang george foreman grill is hard to clean up after, but cooks faster then anything else out there.

i splurged and bought the big foreman downside pretty expensive but the best thing i ever bought damn near it both the grill plates come off for dishwasher or sink cleaning best thing in my kitchen
