I am having Kidney Issues. Anyone here ever had Kidney issues? Maybe kidney stones?

I have been having pain in my left kidney for about a week now constantly, and on and off for a couple years, but i would always drink water and issue fixed, but this time around pain isn't subsiding.

Its a dull ache or throb kind of pain, got blood work done yesterday and doctor will get it when i see him next week i guess he will give me the low down.

Years ago i showed signs of Renal issues with creatinin or some shit like that but i let it go and never followed up, and they also found two small stones back then but they said that they were so small that wasn't likely causing the pain.


So I'm wondering if maybe those little kidney stones have grown and thats maybe my pain now, or if my fucking kidney is failing, lol, i guess i will know soon enough.

Anyhow, for those who have had kidney stones, does this dull,throbbing aches in my lower left side sound like stones?

I made the mistake of googling kidney stones, and the horror stories of pain made my stomach literally ache and flip flop lol, scary shit,

anyhow, just curious if anyone has any input on this, as i said i got my blood work done yesterday and should know soon enough,
 
I know of a buddy who had them, not fun. His side ached for weeks before it became unbearable.
Creatine, Tylenol, ibuprofen all affect the kidneys and liver but will hurt the kidneys a lot.

Brother, you already had signs of Kidney stones and renal issues. Not following up is a not a good way to go about it. I'm certain there are good home remedies to clean your kidneys but it seems like this pain has been lingering for a while. Don't wait any longer, go get it checked.
 
man i just took 4 ibuprofen, its the only thing that takes some of the pain away, and i seen some kidney stones that were huge man! and they are all crystalized and sharp edged, thats hit looks too painful to pass through my poor little dick lol
 
from what I hear the ache is the beginning at times, but can mean other things. Glad you got it checked out, let us know what the blood work shows. Hope it is nothing serious brotha, yeah avoid creatine if you haven't taken it out already.

Kidney stones are hard masses that form in the kidneys when there is not enough liquid to dilute waste chemicals in the urine.

i don't take creatine, i meant to say my blood work from a while back showed "renal problems or deficiencies in producing or processing creatinine not creatine. Some shit like that, kidneys weren't working too well doing something like that lol,

yes i have, and i only started taking it last week, and only take it once a day if that cause half the time it doesn't even take the pain away
 
I PM'd you bro. take a look..I also called a DR I know and trust. he gave me some info for ya to try until bloodwwork results come back.
 
your blood work should show you if you have renal issues, if they would have done a urine test for blood that would have told you if you had a stone as they tend to cause bleeding in the urinary tract. The blood is not always visible to the naked eye but a dipstick test can be done and if positive they will do a CT scan on you to locate the stone.

if you ordered the labs yourself look at the BUN & Creatinine, but i would suggest a follow up with a physician.
 
If you have one of those renal function tests, make sure you are off of creatine for 2 months. Creative is converted into creatinine and can skew the test results. Another thing anabolics do is they cause cysts to form on the kidneys. A cyst is either a water filled growth or a blood filled growth on the outside of the kidneys. I had an MRI on my lower spine because of back pain and a cyst showed up on 1 on my kidneys. The doctor didn't seem to be too concerned about it. But if it broke and it was blood filled you could have internal bleeding.
 
I know a few people that they put ultrasound machine on to break up the kidney stones

a guy that I worked with was pretty tough he was trying to pass one and it brought him to his knees crying
 
Eh I wouldn't worry presser. Sounds like kidney,stones. If the pain gets worse or if you can't pass em see your doc. Some guys get kidney stones so bad it's sad.
 
If you have elevated cratanine levels, there may be something more going on. Glad u went to the doc tho. Let us know what he says.
 
it sounds like stones. I had creatinie issue also but I was taking creatine at the time and it pushed up those levels. Just slam water maybe push that stone through.
