Just got back from the store. Thought I got a really good price on the two dozen cans of tuna I picked up. But then realized, The 6 oz. cans of tuna I bought two weeks ago are now 5 oz. cans of tuna. They don't even sell 6 oz. cans anymore wtf? Is there a tuna shortage?

tuna scammer alert bros.lol that does figure though because if they cut back the ounces and are still produceing the same amount of cans someone is makeing 100% proffit off those misssing ounces now a dollar dont sound like much until you add up how much tuna is boght in an entire year in the us.

Yes, they are making 5 ounce cans now and selling them for the same price as the 6 ounce. It was a very sneaky change.

exactly. when food prices went up - manufacturers either had to up the price of the current size or reduce the size and keep the price the same.

I noticed this change a couple of months ago. I dont eat tuna anymore anyways.

same size cans but less tuna in cans?

thats messed up. I was wondering why it was harder to take up the bread than it used to be

Man i will need to look for this, just like the pop over the years, but they keep the price the same, very sneaky on there part.Good eye there bro!

Im so glad I don't eat tuna anymore, I remember years ago I used to force cans down per day, and I even went so far as the tuna shake (look it up with search function) LOL...

If you get it on sale, around here its about a dollar a can, but I never noticed smaller servings...very interesting...

Ya it took forever to get a can down for me.

cans are not the same size. they are the same width, but not the same height.
