Man i have been bulking for a while now and my weight and measurments have been going up steadily which i am happy about... ive porbably put on 8kgs which i think is about 18pounds. Its all been through heavy eating and heavy training no AAS as yet..

my issue is now that i am heavier i apart from feeling sluggish n out of breath i just feel bloody fat!. the mirror isnt doing me any favours all definition i had is going.. from looking muscular im looking like a regular "big" guy and im not sure if i like it ...

i think i might cut my bulking short and start dieting.... what about you?

I guess I'm on the flip side of a bulkier.... I'm not trying to put on as much weight as possible, but as much dense muscle as possible. I'm in the prime environment for it (rebounding from my show and using insulin) yet my weight hasn't been moving near what I think it should. I've been stuck at 230lbs tops for a couple weeks (I'm only 3 1/2 weeks post contest) yet my physique is making insane transformations and my strength is unreal. Now I would be cool with that being as I'm trying to keep any gains as quality as possible with alot of density and hardness but my weight was actually down to 227 today!!
I'm eating tons of food and a few cheats 4 days a week. If it weren't for he scale I'd be very happy, but my goal is to compete at 225+ in 2 years. Granted I overdieted for my last show, but that in and of itself should make the weight gain more pronounced.
As for doing it w/o AAS, I've never seen anyone do it w/o putting on some fat.

I used my first cycle as a body recomp/cut because of that, I couldn't take getting any bigger in the mirror. I feel much better now, mentally and physically. Now I can't wait for my second cycle so I can add clean weight.

I've tried to get people to do this and it's hard, but if you want to bulk and stay lean, pick a clean diet and double the intake. Like take a contest diet and just double the portions. It's hard to eat that much clean food, but you'll only be adding quality size while staying somewhat lean. See if that helps, if not, throw in a few cheat meals

i will have to try give that a go .. it does sound a little difficult to keep that clean and eat so much but hey i can only try right?

I hate all out bulking...and I dont do that anymore...in the past when I was in my mid twenty's I hit a high of 285lbs and I was huge, but had tons of bodyfat. (honeslty I prob wasnt much more than 15%, but for a bodybuilder that is alot) Now, Im around 260lbs, but I have abs, and clean lines all around. So im in striking distant of a show in no more than 8-10 weeks (at the very most) out. I could prob, be in great shape in about 6 weeks (with keto diet). but I perfer to take things slow, and try to add while im dieting.

one thing for sure, though. Is I really believe those younger years of bulking did help with my mass now. I mean, yeah i was fat, and held a crapload of water weight. But over the years, It got more and more solid. I remember when I wasnt even in good shape at 240lbs or even 235lbs. But now that is close to contest weight. I had to continue to diet down all the way to 210-215lbs. Now I start at 255-260lbs and come down to around 230lbs or so. Much better than losing 50-60lbs...

I guess when they say you're body gets used to carrying that weight, despite it being muscle or fat it's easier to stay that weight, it's true. I've noticed that to some extent, but not like you
