on the test cyp for hrt, i've been injecting with a 22g, 1 and a half inch in the hip, rotating each week from hip to hip... i picked up a 1 inch for my arms, deltoids, but... it's a 25g. Is that too small of a gauge to push a test cyp load?

That's more than enough bro, that's what most people use actually, then 22g or 23g for bigger muscles
 
My script is for 200mg/wk as well. I've been on 200/wk fself administered IM for several years and the only noticeable negative side has been mild atrophy.
I generally use 23's....my "aftermarket" gear is EO based, so I'm looking forward to 25's.

I actually came off the HRT recently, long enough to get my wife pregnant...mission accomplished so now it's time to put on the winter coat.

I've actually discovered that pins are cheaper for me on the net than through the insurance/pharmacy in bulk as well.

My initial test was 60ng/dl. They put me on patches....sucked, gel....sucked and expensive as hell....then self administered IM....excellent! The only bitch I have, even on the 200mg/wk is that I'm ALWAYS freakin horny!
 
Congrats on getting the wife pregnant recon...And yea, I'd say the constantly horny deal would suck but that happens lol
 
ditto and congrats (my wife is expecting too, baby boy on Feb 6)! being horny all the time is def a side effect. tried the patches and they do suck, expensive (75 bucks for one month), and if you sweat, forget about it, they fall off, so i switched to injections (40 bucks for 20ml which lasts just a tad over 2 months), much much better. looking at picking up some IGF soon from MC as soon as i have some funds. with the HRT, I completed dose 5 last Thurs. I've been dosing 200mg every 6th day. really starting to transform, finally, pumped! with my workouts, i've been doing a fairly simple but intense routine. chest on day 1, back on day 2, rest day, then tri's/bi's and shoulder presses, rest, then legs... however, i have been adding one leg exercise, like dead lifts, at the beginning of each workout. legs are by far my least fav (and they're pretty weak so it's 10x as hard, gotta push thru) but i know they help with hormone production and have great anabolic effects. thinking about adding some plyometric exercises to improve my explosiveness, especially good for martial arts. with all workouts, i've been doing pyramids, 10-12 reps, then 8, 6, 4, increasing weight as i decrease reps. after 8 wks, i'll switch it up with types of lifts, weight, and reps, so i hopefully can forego the plateau. in the past, i've had trouble getting past the plateau, but i think i have an o.k. plan to minimize that effect. oh, i've been supplementing with bcaa's/protein shakes, glutamine and creating powder, all post workout. during workout, i've been using gaspari size on, and a little caffeine/arginine (jack3d brand) at the beginning of workout... i know most of the otc stuff is mostly marketing hype, but hopefully some good can come from it. in 5 weeks, i've increased from 165lbs to 175lb, 10 lbs of muscle and still gaining. any feedback or thoughts is greatly appreciated.
 
I can tell you that patches and gels don't work for me- my doctor was old fashioned text book so I stopped seeing him and got back to pinning the dosages... best thing I ever did- I will now need to look for a doc that is not stuck in the middle ages concerning HRT.
 
yep, patches did virtually nothing for me as well. and it was 10ml, not 20ml, that lasts me 2 months. When i visited my new pcp and i showed him the patch, he didn't hesitate to write the rx for cyp injectable, said it was a far better method of delivery, and sure enough it is. i haven't felt this good since high school/early college years. it's like i'm getting back a part of myself that was lost, and over the past couple years, thur hindsight, i didn't know why i felt the way i did. and i think it was a direct results of low T, especially since it was at 164, low, low... i want to get on hcg because of the testicular atrophy side effect and even though i'm on a therapeutic dose, i hear that HCG has a lot more benefits than just mitigating shrinkage. My pcp doc is pretty good and i think he would understand my logic. But then again, i dunno, i def don't want to go to an endo doc because from what some of my doc friends have told me, they'll want to inject theirselves, have me come in, pay them tons of money, and get the ins money as well. i know how to dose and inject. i just think at some point, i would want to incorporate hcg for all the positive reasons i've read about. i've read online about supposed companies that provide hcg online but i also know that it's a prescribed substance so i am a bit skeptical about the online stuff. hmm... in the meantime, i have 2 more refills of the cyp/hrt and after that i'm going back to the pcp to get blood work done + i have gained some knowledge on how to read my own blood tests and as i mentioned before, i have a close friend who is a doc i can call anytime for advice and guidance... especially good, since he's studied thoroughly these kinds of issues and anabolics + he has some personal knowledge because of personal practice.

I dont understand what you mean by mild atrophy? Why and what muscles are going through atrophy? That shouldnt be happening at 200mg a week?

or did you mean Atrophy of the Testicles? i didnt think of that til just now, is that what u meant brutha??
