DO NOT do them!!!!! all they do is tear up your elbows-there is scientific evidence to back this up
This still doesn't mean they don't work. I am a firm believer in skull crushers. This exercise has been a staple of mine since I was in high school. I honestly believe these are one of the best mass builders for triceps. It all depends on the person. Everyones bodies are diff, so just because they don't work for some doesn't mean they won't work for others....
Ez bar is better and less stress on the wrist .. but did heear something abt ur elbows suffering for it .. but its true what kills u make me stronger .. were all diffrent
Besides doing weighted dips, skull crushers are one of the best mass builders for the tri's IMO.
I've always wondered why some exercises are coined "best for building ...", says who? Compound movements stimulate the entire body, but single joint movements??? In reality big triceps are going to come from big UPPER BODY movements. Dips and presses are going to give you the biggest bang for the buck and are much less likely to injure you. If you like them, go for it, but with as much as I press just on chest day, I can't do a known elbow wrecker.
