Tonight I'm hoping to get up the 100 pound dumbbells on bench press. Metal and Big n WV have motivated me to go for it. I've never even tried picking up one of those 100 pound bastards...I just hope it's not like on SpongeBob where he goes to pick up the big weight and his arms pop off.

sweet bro! Glad to hear we were your motivation, remember the most important things.
Lift the weight from the rack bending your knees.
Sit with the weights on your legs and take a little breather
When you pop the weights up, let your legs do the work NOT your shoulders
and I bet you can get it if you do that bro, good luck man!

You can do it man dont ever think you cant there's no harm in trying. The easiest way I found to get the weights up is to hold the dumbell high on your legs close to your body, then when you go back you have the momentum to get them up. Hope this helps bro.

The only way I can lift 100 plus dumbbells. Is if I rest the the dumbbells on my knees.. And as I go back I throe them back.. That is the easiest for me.. I just wish the gym that I go to went past 125's..

Man, you're more than strong enough to get them. If nothing else, have someone help you get them up to the starting position then you'll be all set because that's the hardest part for most people. I'm guessing you'll get at least 5 reps on them bro

major and lightweight are both right, depending on which chest exercise you are doing.
close to the hips for flat bench and both at the same time, or
close to the knees for incline popped up individually

sounds like its time for the 110s than bro, they feel the same as the 100s

That's what I do man, it makes a big difference. You can also go to barbells next week, then back to dumbbells the week after, but stay at like 90s for more reps then to barbells the week after then the week after try the 110s and I'd venture a guess to say you'd get them for 6 reps
