Does anyone else do these, i just started doing them a few weeks ago and like them they take my overpowering shoulders out of the exercise and hit the bicep way down at the insertion for me.
This looks like a Preacher curl though?? A spider curl to my understanding forces the upper back arms into a much stricter position then this??
I take a standing preacher bench, flip it around and use the flat side to do my curls, always at the end, and I stay light..this of course when I was a BBer...I swear by these for growth..I would take a 50-60lb preset barbell and do 3 sets of 20...thumbs out...Swear by them.
I love them. You are curling from a dead start with no support but form is important to keep you from using my back. Love this! Dumbbells are great too.

yea in only use a 50 pound barbell for these to keep the form strict, actually i am trying lighter weight in genral with more volume for arms to see how it goes.

I cant have anything pressing on my chest like that! Ive tryed them and hated them due to the pressure i felt on my chest! But I do a similar workout with seated preacher curls but i turn the pad around so it drops straight down and I stand and do them concentrated like that with out the pressure on my chest
