What do you like to eat before training?

I personally like a simple carb, but I know a lot of guys who like complex carbs prior to training. What is your preference?
 
Nothing for an hour before... I usually push to the point that if i do eat, i puke.

I eat 3-4 packets of flavored oatmeal about 45-60 minutes prior to training . It really makes a Huge difference for me
 
Good recollection daddio! If I eat so close to training like you do then I have a hard time breathing, I guess everyone's digestion is different ?
 
I do have a hard time breathing hahaha. But I'd rather have a hard time breathing than feel dizzy and hungry - that's the worst.
 
Just started making my own lactose rice pudding that I eat an hour before if I remember. Usually I already have a meal in me about an hour before.
 
I usually eat whatever is on my way to the gym lol usually Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese or the Mexican meat market sometimes publix deli or subway. im one who needs a meal atleast 2 hour before training I prefer right at an hour
 
I love some oatmeal or a couple scoops of peanut butter about 30 mins or so before I train. If I don't I usually get dizzy before the workouts over.

Pretty much same, not as much oats. A half cup oats, then a scoop protein, open the gym, wait at least hour if not more then blast
 
what I eat always depends on day and time so really varies. I like to slam a monster energy drink on drive
to the gym. Might only be a mental boost but gets me going. I do the sugarless so its good for you. lol
 
i do eca then down the hatch with oatbran and protein and creatine..is pretty thick as i put about half a cup of oatbran..if im full at 10am i might switch it around and have a protein shake at 10 then a meal 40 mins before training(12:15-1230) meal= rice fish or chicken +veg

Holy hell lights out I would be either yaking or running everyone outta the building after eating all that lol

I was doing that (minus the whole egg) before I started eating my rice pudding. 80g of carbs baby then add a scoop of whey. I use it post workout too.
