Well it's been two months off from all gear and supplements (including creatine etc.) and about 6 weeks off from all training. This is my latest strategy/attempt to overcome plateaus. I won't weigh myself for the simple reason that I wish to preserve the little ego I have left, but starting Monday I began my training. Quads Monday, Hams Tuesday. I did 3 exercises each day with moderate intensity. The result: I'm so unbelievable sore, I can barely sit down. It's amazing the degree to which the body degrades over just 6 weeks. I'll train in this state for about another two weeks or so and start up the gear again.
With regard to cycling off, I fought depression and anxiety and coped with it using booze and recs. Thankfully, the downfall only lasted about 6 weeks and I've since been quite level-headed. Coming off is a bitch and you have to really prepare yourself for a good month to a month and a half of hell. It's nice to know a.) that it does end; and b.) I'll--hopefully--break some plateaus.
We'll see
