I'm thinking of trying this out. I used p90x with good results for cutting and this incorporates some of that. Im going to modify it and do weight training 3 days and split the program into two weeks so I will have cardio 3 days from this insanity thing. Anyone tried this? The series I mean.

I think there are some others who have used p90x. Looks pretty damn intense to me.

Look up crossfit. IMO there is no better training for "fitness" than Crossfit. I know a couple guys doing it and they are in great shape athletically. They are not body builders but are lean and in great shape.

21 thrusters
21 pullups
15 thrusters
15 pullups
9 thrusters
9 pullup

Something like this would smoke my bags.

I have some of the Insanity videos and they are very intense. Great for cardiovascular health but will have your heartrate way too high for a lot of fat loss without losing a good bit of muscle. You could definitely incorporate these vids a few days a week with really good results

I will check out crossfit. I have completed p90x successfully 3 full times. I went from 238 to 202 the first time and it was pretty impressive but it is torture. My resting rate also dropped down to 52-53 beats a minute after p90x as well. As far as the insanity I was going to do the plyo workout and two of the others as a test to get back in shape to possibly start martial arts again.

Crossfit is good stuff... The workouts are nasty in regards to fitness, however they do add in some heavy lifts.
