Im looking for a new bedroom set and I find one I really like. It's $1800 for what I thought was a 5 piece set...uh no. These fuckers want that much for the headboard, footboard, bedframe, one nightstand and a dresser with no mirror. What the hell.

Depending on the company that could be a decent deal. My family owns a furniture store and I can tell you shit made in the US is on the high end, but some of the shit that comes from China, Vietnam and a few other countries is not worth the money. You gotta remember this, a furniture store is much like a car dealership in that cash speaks so if you're willing to pay cash, you might get the price to drop. And just a little FYI, most stores will consider the headboard, footboard and rails as a 3 piece set, for whatever reason. Probably just to make you think that you're getting a better deal.

Yeah bedroom furniture is expensive as hell, wife and i bought realy nice stuff about 10 years ago when we moved in together and it has lasted damn good, so u want to spend a good bit to get a nice set that will last., last thing u want is to be buying shit every few years!

It's crazy how quick things add up. Everytime I pick out a living room for myself at my family's store it is at least 2k and that's just what it costs without the mark up
