Beer during your workouts

i heard that back in the day alot of guys used to drink beef during their workouts

some say the yeast in beer is a very slow and near non digesting carb, so when consumed during the workout energy levels are sustaned

any opinions on this?:chinese:
 
i see this all the time as a bouncer......at least they think they're stronger with beer lol!!!
 
I'd think the risks would outweigh the bennifits. I don't know, imagine downing a few beers and doing some 5-600lbs hacks. doesn't sound too fun.

I used to turn the heater on full bloast and shotgun 2 hot beers when i got to the gym. Most intense training ive ever done. Dont know if it just helped me get psyched up or what but i would sweat like a beast and felt like an animal.

also done curls and shit drunk and best pumps i ever got haha blood thinned out and man they just hurt they were so big.

they actually rashened Guinness in WW2 because it does have a lot of protein in it. It was considered a meal for the allies.
 
im being serious. IM not advocating drinking beer at any time.... but just saying. Guinness has a lot of protein in it.
 
Margaritas have alot of sugar in them. Does that mean they would be good to drink post-workout?? :p
 
I guss it really depends on your goals. Some, more serious, would never consider f'n the diet up while others, more hobbiest, would enjoy a beer with the workout. Dont you guys rember beaten up your home gym in the garage with a few buddies and some beers on a saturday?! That was fun!. Now we have goals, health, schedules, and all of the other "grown up" things to think about. Dam adulthood
 
this shit sounds awesome....some times i dred going to the gym, now I think im just gonna slam a few cold ones in the parking lot and get my swell on
