Ok how bad is beer ? Does it slow your gains down? Twice a week bad? Does it make you weaker the next day at the gym? I think it does personally , how bad is it while on gear? Thoughts ? Facts? And im talking about 2-3 beers..
If Im really sore for recovery i will have a guinness beer and believe it or it helps. Other than that Im not much of a drinker. If you have to have your vices find a lighter beer like michelob ultra or something, less alcohol % and fewer calories . thats why so many men have beer guts they drink 4-6 beers aand they run about 140 calories each with no excercise. it all adds up plus the strain it puts on your liver, wine would be better for you than beer. lol
I can't say it helps, but i dont believe it will hinder your gains to a noticeable ammount, however oral compounds and alcohol does damage to your liver if you can stop drinking while your on, if not just dont go crazy with it... I would say beer would be a greater choice over liquor as liquor dehydrates your body a lot more extreme, make sure you drink lots of water also!
