Well I just got back from my doctor visit that I have been waiting on for the past 2 months. I have low thyroid that I am on meds for and take daily. I used to be on Provigil to help me stay awake since i also have a problem staying awake. I have had this problem for years. I started my current cycle 1 month ago 500mg omnadren/week and 75 eod tren ace. so for the sides from tren are not bad at all for me axcept it is makeing me even more tired. So after talking to my doc (not telling him about the gear) he wants me to get my free test checked because of the constant being tired, and weight fluctuation (which is from the gear and dieting). But I hold weight bad on the love handles and he was saying because of my build I should not have that much excess on my sides (weird). Here is the delima. Do I stop my cycle and pct now then get my bloodwork done or stay on and get the bloodwork done. The bllodwork will check my t3-t4 levels and my free test. The only reason that I am worried is that I dont want my levels so high that it is obvious that I am on and he puts it in my file and goes againt my insurance. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I would come off and rebound before the test ,that way your natural levels are getting checked and any base issue can be addressed. knowing what your body is doing at baseline is a good thing.

I agree, the only way to really know what's going on is to come off, recover and then have the test done.

If your t3/t4 are fine with the meds, then no need to go to your follow-up appointment for being tired. Just dont make the appointment. Next time your in, he prob wont remember if your doing "med check-ups" every 3-4 months or longer usually with thyroid its only every 6 months at best. He might suspect your on and that is why he is asking for the test.
If he does insist, its only bc he suspects something. Get another doc or if you really like him/her, then go off. Also, provigil is a drug that really only works for a select few. I am looking for the drug to be pulled in the near future. The recent findings in the journals have been bad. If you have narcolepsy, then consider Ritalin or another amphetamine IF its that bad. Thats if its bad bc the Ritalin will kill your appetite.
Hope that helps

yeah He just wants to add the free test in with my normal bloodwork that I get. I get my T3/T4 levels checked every six months and my meds are adjusted accordingly. He also wants me to get a sleep study done as well. I currently take 40mcg daily of synthroid daily. I found out that that is actually a high dose for medical purposes. He gave me a scrip for the provigil 200mg until I get my sleep study done. Thankfully my insurance covers it because its 992.00 for 30 pills before my insurance. holy shit.

ya well if he does go off and his test is suppresed(not fully recovered) when this is done THEN WONt they prescribe him trt, idk much bout this so sorry if stupid ?

Yes they will, but his levels will be artificially suppressed so that may not be the problem and therefore won't correct his symptoms. The smart thing to do, if you actually care about your health and quality of life, is to come off, recover to your natural levels, then have the test. See what's going on with your body without the influence of exogenous hormones.

ya i understand that but was just curios as to what theyd do, id like to get trt i heard u can buy low t level piss on internet for this very thing

Well here's the problem with that. I can only speak for my doctor, but I had NUMEROUS blood tests done. First by my general physician, then a verification by my endo Then a second by my endo to also check LH, FSH and SHGB. Due to the test results I also ended up having a pituitary MRI. After starting treatment I started on 100mg/wk doing injections every other week. Did that for a month and had two blood tests halfway between each injection to see how my body responded. Then they raised the dose to 150mg/wk with injections every other week. Did that for a month with two more blood tests. Then kept the same dosage (150mg/wk) but with injections every week instead of every other week. Did that for a while and had a couple more blood tests and finally got the OK to continue that for 6 months and then check back.

So if you wind up with a thorough doctor (like mine), and you don't really have a problem, it will be very difficult to fake the results you'd need to look legitimate.
