Well been eating peanut butter sandwiches 2day. And I found out on the bread label 80 calories and 2g of protein per slice didnt look at the carbs But I know bread is packed with carbs. Since im trying to gain weight and build muscle. Do you think would be good for me to eat like alot of just bread slices?

you have to be careful with carbs bro, if you over due it with the carbs you will get fat and retain water also. If you are going to eat bread make sure its wheat bread. Be careful though cause the bread industry are tricky fuckers. If the bread only sias Wheat on it, its crap. The bread must say WHOLE WHEAT. You wanna gain wieght but quality weight not fat weight. As far as the penut butter goes it would be a better idea if you get natural penut butter and add splenda to it. Rather then buying the one with alot of salt and sugar on it. IF you are going to eat alot of something make it protein not carbs bro. I know you are on a buget but you have to consider the fact that carbs alone will not make your muscles grow. I know your funds are limited but eat smart and try to eat healthy as possible. good luck and be patient

chicken and eggs are good cheap sources of protein. I hard boil a bunch of eggs at a time and take them to work with me or eat them at home as snacks, you don't need to worry about the cholesterol or the added fat so eat the yolk too...

wait, mike i though whole eggs are not good to have since they have fat and cholesterol. my friend use to eat 5 hard boiled eggs aday and his cholesterol when through the roof so his life insurance was denied. Once he stop eating them it went down and he was accepted by his inusurance.

Eggs are cheap, and fairly good for you. If you are worried about cholesterol, a cheap yolk remover at the grocery store is a great tool. About $2.99

Elmo, this kid can't keep weight on...his metabolism is so fast. He needs the whole egg or the boy will never get enough fat in his system to burn.

Actually angel, you might be right. He probably needs more calories and the yolk will deniately have those. Also, I don't think that anyone active needs to work about their cholesterol in high school.

high cholesterol is more genetic and activity level than diet. He's young and he's active there's no reason to worry about cholesterol for another 10 years so enjoy the whole egg

eat good food in sight,...potatoes,yams, oatmeal, wheat bread, pasta, tuna, chicken..milk 2% will be great for you malic....
