I'm so lost... I thought carb depleting and loading was a thing of the past. I never hear any one talk about it anymore. Is it just such a given, that it's not really discussed anymore?? I just assumed since I didn't hear about it anymore, it was just too risky to not hit it right. I've been following the sport for 18n years.... so maybe it's just a given now.

I think carb loading is more of a 'given'....and as u said it is a hit n miss sort of thing for some....I personally have seen guys coming toward a show looking nice and ripped and carb load and hold a lot of water and not place as good as they thought they should of.....my question iz next time around do u carb up sooner?

yea, i thought the point of carb loading was to help manipulate water too. you eat carbs, cut out water, and the carbs pull the water from under the skin as they are absorbed by your muscles. full yet dry. how off am i?
