Well Im going to start up an offseason thread for all of you to see what im doing this offseason...Yes, its true, im actully going to train this offseason and try to actully grow this offseason..I figured that training and eating right in the offseason will actully make me grow...LOL !!! :laugh:

No the truth, is that for the past few years, my offseason training has been pretty crappy...Most of the time im just doing HRT doses, and training just half ass...But, this year is different as I want to move up to the super's and I know now that is what I need to do...

So watch this thread for my diet, training, thoughts, and updated pics...

yesterday was my first actully day back in the gym training...

Garrick and I started out on quads only....We did squats 6 x 15 reps each set, then went to slow leg presses (doing each rep very slow negative 4 count down) 3 x 15 reps, then just finished out with leg extensions 3 x 15 reps (pretty light weights at this point)...My quads where on fire after this...and it really didnt seem like we did alot...but I havnt done a real quad workout in about a month now...so it was a good workout, even though we normally do a tad more than that ...
 
If I were you.. update your avatar monthly on progress pics.. so NOT only can we see you training heavier and see the weight go up in words in the thread brotha.. BUT .. We can also glance over at the pic and go HOLY F*CK he's really doing it !!! LOOK AT HOW HUGE CHRIS250 is getting !! .. I dunno just a thought... YOU KNOW I'LL BE FOLLOWING CLOSELY ... HAPPY TRAINING BRO !!
 
How high are you trying to get on body weight.

I have no set in stone weigt...I just want to gain as much lean mass as possiable...

so normally I would go up to around 240-245lbs and that was it...this year, im sure i'll hit 250-255 + pounds this year...

Of course bro, that's what I am here for.. well.. I can't get as in depth with EVERYONE because well hahaha.. Let's face it.. via the internet you can't/not nice to-- charge for services.. but.. As a Nutritionist/Personal Trainer.. I am used to getting a Lump sum of Cash for the info in my head and that's why I am so willing to hand out the knowledge in my brain to certain people via the Forum when someone asks for assistance..Or asks what I think about this or that .. but.. HELL BRO.. I wanna see you succeed so I am going to do everything in MY POWER to see that happen..

So yah, no rush.. when you can.. get back to me... :thumbsup:
 
Monday - Nov. 30th (Quads)

getting back on track this past monday, but I had a full schedule of clients this day, so we didnt get to train to 7pm...(normal time is 2-3pm) But we decided to just start out with some quads, and go from there...Smith Squats, Leg Presses, and Leg Extension ... We did about 4-5 sets each and reps where all higher range of 15-20 reps...My quads, are very sore today...Like they never had been trained before...LOL !!!
 
so is this how your going to train your entire body similar to how magnum explained his leg routine in his thoughts on training? Curious as i may be switching to this type of training more too.

Yeah I running axio...(havnt given this a try, so I thought this would be the best time) i have some from before, so this is the plan to give Axio a good shot...

yesterday, I did delts on there own...did arnold presses 4 x 12-15 reps (not crazy heavy), dumbell side laterals (on a incline bench) 3 x 15 reps, front d.b. raises (on incline bench) 3 x 15 reps...Life Fitness rear delt laterals, 3 x 15 reps, smythe upright rows (wide grip) 3 x 15 reps...I didnt go heavy at all...just went for a pump..This week is kinda a break in week...Hopefully in a a couple weeks, my strengh will be going up...
 
thursday, I did some back, deads, db rows, seated rows, and pulldowns ...Nothing to special really ...worked my way up on the deads to 405 poulds for 10 reps...felt pretty good
 
sweeeeeeeeet I'm tuned in Chris....Im using Axio's prop rite now n its awesome....405 for 10 right after some hard dieting is pretty impressive bro....
