Which do you prefer to target the lower lats?

Im going with bent over rows with an underhand grip.

i too go for the bent over row.

do you ever row laying face first on an incline bench and stick the bar under it and row from there?
just throught id throw that out there, i do these somtimes, they feel pretty good

Bent over row for specifically lower lats if its up to these two exercises alone. Me personally, I think that one arm dumbell rows hit the lower lats the best.

I do deadlifts on leg day... I too prefer bent over rows with an underhand grip to hit that area of the back. In fact, I usually warm up with those... burns so good!

I only do deads here and there, so I'd say for my the rows with hands in supinated position

one arm rows are better for me. I still have dorian in the back of my mind though. He made the bent row, "the exercise". I suck at it no matter how hard I try. My mechanics just dont do well with it. I do ok when its on a smith though.

for lower lats? any underhand grip row will probably hit those better than rackpulls or deadlifts.

Of the two, definitely the rows. I do deads about every week, but it's more of a ham and lower back exercise for me. I guess I do get a pull in my lats, but nothing like what I'll get from one arm rows or barbell rows.
