My results keep coming up high protein and they won't cover me for my life insurance. Can someone help me try to pass this test... Is there any vitimins or anything at all i can try..

Im not sure. But i think this has to do with the kidneys. Dont quote me on it. Cranberry juice is great for flushing out the kidneys.

I passed mine 2 years ago (AAA). The test came back with an elevated liver values. I told them i did a lot of drinking over the weekend.

The test was preformed 3-4 months after a cycle.

High protein levels mean you have kidneys issues. The test is designed and set up for the average American. You know the average American 76% that are the fat lazy slobs... They need to update those test and allow for people who eat good workout and are in good health.

Keep in mind also Insurence companies DO NOT want to pay out so they try to filter out potential health risk well in advance... My best friend of 23 years blew out his knee in a biking accident and after paying for his surgery they dropped him saying he had a previous history with his knee's.. NOT true... but anyway he no longer had insurence not long after the knee accident he blew out both shoulders and had to have surgery to correct it, he did not have teh money to pay for the operation but without woudl never work again so they sold everything they had and got the surgery but could not afford the follow ups and rehabs so they had to file bankrupcy so he did not loose the house.

That was 5 years ago and now he is fine but only got back 72% of motion and 35% strength in his shoulder.

Insurence companies will take your money every month but when you need them they will run like rats in the light... Legalized scam artist. The fight you tooth and nail on everything.

I, too, was failed for an independent life insurance test. Their reasons only said that the lab profile was involved in their decision. I requested the lab information, but I still haven't heard back from them yet so I don't know what scared them off--high protein or liver values. The dumb thing is that on the questionnaire, they ask if you have an athletic lifestyle. Don't most athletes consume more protein than the normal guy on the street? That's a stupid reason to decline insurance, to have high protein. I've been on a few things, but my liver values were always pretty much normal with only a couple that were just barely high--nothing to worry about so said my doctor at my last blood test.

this makes me nervous because I'm applying for life insurance in the next couple of months. I think I better get off the gear instead of extending it and start cleaning out my system... I know one thing you can do is to modify your diet and training the week leading up to the test, my broker pulled me aside and told me to not train within 48 hours of the test, not drink at all the week leading up to it and it will help the results improve. Not sure exactly how it works but I know that heavy training creates free-radicals and other enzymes, proteins etc. in your blood.

oh god yes... IF you want 100k +... you must be clean mikey!! Clean meaning all organs must be at normal range, bp good. I don’t know all the tests they run, but they definitely take blood.

Btw... do not get allstate. They will dispute all death insurance policies. ITs been a year, we are now suing them.

Mikey,

you have the same problem as me. You must pass that test cause you dont want your wife questioning why you didnt pass the test.

I suggest getting your own test done. When everything is in the normal range... then get insurance.

they don't let you get your own test, they come to your house and test you themselves with the insurance we're taking out. I will be starting a detox a month or two from now and then before hand eating healthy, no booze and I will even stop training for the week leading up to the blood tests because I can't risk not getting approved with the baby coming in February.

ahhhh good thinking! my Doc is pretty cool so that's a good idea. He doesn't know of my extra curricular activities but he'd be cool if something showed up.

drinking pure cranberry juice for two weeks taking vitimin c and eating very minimal protein till i pass my test. Anybody else have any ideas on what to take...

don't train within 48 hours of the test and don't drink any liquor, lots of water etc. keep us posted and I'll research what else you can do since I'll be in your shoes soon myself.

I do know that the product from Synthetex does help put your system back on track to normal real fast.. I think it is called Synthelen.. doubel check with BigA but he carries something that is 2nd to none... Light years ahead of anything or anyone.
